What time does toontown open?

I keep hearing about greeting the characters and maybe riding Barnstormer when Toontown first opens. Does it open with the rest of the park? Is it a part of EE? Thanks!

I *think* and leave room for error here, that it opens at 10 am.
And I do not believe it is part of early entry. Seems we have been there at least twice when it was not open yet.

It pens at 10am on normal operating days and is not a part of the Magic Mornings. However if you are coming over the next couple of weeks (or during christmas) check the times guide when you arrive as it usually opens earlier if the park opens earlier (like the next coupld of weeks with the park opening at 8am it will probably open at 9am...that is how it has been in the past. I have not seen anything official for the upcoming weeks, but that is generally what they do).

We were there on a busy EE day and we rode the train from the Splash mountain area and arrived in Toon Town at about 9AM. At first it seemed quiet but it never occured to me that it was just opening until I saw a crowd of people following characters coming at us.

We ducked into the Barnstormer line and ended up riding wth Chip and Dale. This might be a good way to get into Toon Town instead of waiting for the rope to drop and being part of the crowd.

We were there in Feb. when toon town opened at 10am. We did the rope drop with characters, very cute but Goofy's Barnstormer didn't open till 11am!!

Don't know if it is always like that or not?
