What time does Southwest open fares???

I got mine...$99 each way...Philadelphia to MCO. Yesterday Air Tran had a $79 flight coming back...I should have booked it...It was $230 this morning. Even so, we would have had to pay $15 per bag on Air tran, so it really only would have been $5 less to do that flight once we paid that. I'm happy I got it booked, but wish it was a little lower, but the fares are pretty good...there are never a whole lot of deals out of Philly in Dec. Now I can sit back and hope for a Ding!

I got $49 each way out of bwi - can't beat that! :cool1:

It's $59 with the taxes and fees. Not bad at all. I was afraid they would only go up if I waited.

Question for you guys- I had to book quite a few different reservations (for different family members, paying with their own cards).
I got the first two e-mail confirmations but the rest haven't come through yet. Does it sometimes take a while or should I be concerned? I haven't closed the windows yet, so I have the confirmation numbers and everything, but I like to have that e-mail to save.

My confirmation took a little longer to arrive than usual - it just arrived.

They probably had a lot of people booking at the schedule opening, so the servers might be a little slow.

Ah, good point. Thanks.

Wow! That's AWESOME!!!
I miss living in MD...Had a choice between BWI, Dulles and National. Now I'm stuck with one airport choice, so no great deals.

$59 from Fll-MCO on Sunday Dec. 13/09. The 1pm flights were not there and disappointment as I had to take 3pm...The 11:20am was to early with cruise...Overall, very happy with the price!!!!!

Well I am disappointed with the fares, $97 each way from RDU. I know that isn't bad compared to other airlines but last year I got flights for $79 each way. Anyone think they will come down any (and not at the last minute to sell the seats?)

Wow.. you guys got great deals. I just booked our Thanksgiving trip, leaving Sat. before TG and returning Sunday after TG - cost us almost $400 pp (with all fees), Providence - MCO.

mine were $135 each way from San Antonio. I was hoping for a little less but they are non stop flights so I'm happy!

I just got an amazing deal that saved us over $1000! :cool1: flying out of our home airport flights were $149 each way. Changing my flights to DFW I was able to score $59 each way to Orlando for 12/22-12/31. So we have to drive a little bit to get there. 5 hours each way but it's soooooo worth it to have 6 rt tix for 935!!!!

I am very jealous of the fares from Buffalo. Fares from Long Island were $129 each way and we are much closer! In fact, I could only get the $129 for 4 of the six tickets. The rest were $139. Still, it is done and I can get a credit if the fares drop. I am glad it is booked. One less thing to worry about. Now if only the rental cars come down!

I booked at 9:15, I paid $99 :cool1:for my return flight 2 hour later it is now $184.:scared1::scared1: I am so glad I am on the dis board and I knew to book right away. I had no idea prices increased so fast:scared1:

Flights for 4 from Austin to MCO. The best price on other sites last night was over $2000.00 Today on SW with better times $1433.00:wizard: I am so :worship::banana::cool1:

Thanks for posting. We are closer to PHL and fly out of there, but when I saw $49 fares at BWI I figured that would be my insurance policy so I booked those :cool1: $596 total for 5 people

BWI will add about 45 minutes to our drive, but I'll take it to save $500! Of course I will continue to watch PHL and rebook if something reasonable comes along, but if not the BWI price can't be beat!!!!

It's usually at 10am Central, but I believe last time it was closer to 11. In any case, it won't be before 10.

FYI, I know the flights have already come out, but this statement is not necessarily true. The last time the schedule opened up, it was up at about 6:30AM EST. I came into work at 6:30am and just happened to check the flights and sure enough, they were already available to be booked. I did not get a Ding, but they were available.

So I would never assume that the flights won't be up until a specific time. I would always check the first chance you have the day they are supposed to open up just in case. :goodvibes

I know!! Wish we got as good as deal as others... I paid $1687 for 5 tickets roundtrip. Flying CRP to MCO on Dec. 16th and Dec. 26th. It was under our budget so I went ahead and took it. I will be looking for some cheaper sales though. The thing I was most upset about was that they dropped the afternoon flight back. So instead of 4 p.m. the latest now is 11:20. :(

They went up really quickly, didn't they? I'm flying from Austin but using awards, so I didn't pay too much attention, but I think it was $139 down & $99 back. It looks like my usual 9:55 a.m. nonstop has been replaced with a 10:20 connector, but there's a 12:50 nonstop that I don't remember being there before. Unfortunately, neither was available for an award ticket. :sad2:

I was also checking flights for my DD & DSIL, who are going skiing in Vail at Christmas, and they were going up so fast it was hard to get an email typed with up-to-the-minute prices :scared1:

Yep they increase fast! I booked early at $149. An hour later they were at $188...now they're at $224!!!

Mine went up $10 each person....I'm happy with what I got!!!!:woohoo:
