Good Luck to you all! Happy Holidays and winter vacations!!!!!!!!

Looks like they moved the date back to Jan 8 from Jan 15. Not sure I want to wait until Sept 3 to book my Jan travel. Will most likely go with a different airline now.

It's usually at 10am Central, but I believe last time it was closer to 11. In any case, it won't be before 10.

Fares are up at 9:15 a.m. CDT. Hope noone stayed in bed based on this advice.

I tried to warn people!

Same here. I am soooooooooooooo mad. Our return flight is on the 9th, and they just HAD to move the date up to the 8th. I definitely do not want to wait until September 3rd to book a return flight.

While I am not thrilled with the prices, I know they will likely come down. Our beef is that the flight times down there are terrible. The absolute soonest we can get down there is 2:45. When you factor in getting to the hotel/checking in, that practically blows our whole day. We were hoping to get down there no later than noon.

Had the flight times been more convenient for us, we would have definitely considered just booking a departure flight, and then waited till September, but as of right now, looks like we might be looking at AirTran.

My only concern is that I don't want to wait TOO long, because then I am afraid AT's flights might go up. BUT, if they come down, we won't be able to get a credit free of charge like we would with Southwest. At least with Southwest, I can make the flight with peace of mind, knowing that I'll at least get my money back (in the form of a voucher).

Ach! I don't know what to do.

ROCK AND ROLL!!!

Just got our flights. For 4 people

Got 1st flight out December 12th (SAT) out of BUF - For $59 EACH!

Return December 20th (SUN), couldn't get the late flight we wanted, it was showing unavailable at all prices.:confused3 But I got the 2:15 PM flight from MCO to BUF - $104 each...but I had two rapid reward credits!:thumbsup2

So our total cost for 4 tickets: $538.80!

That's $134.70 each round trip.

Yahooooo!

Prices are too high for me......$99 each way. I never have paid more than $64 so I will keep waiting. I was prepared to book at $79 and then just watch for a credit....but not at $99.

Then again, I have never had any luck on release day and usually have no problems a few weeks out, so I hope that is the case this time as well!

Eh, not so impressed with the prices this time. Very average. We went ahead and bought anyway, but I'm hoping they come down a bit.

I would faint dead away with delight if I ever got $99 each way for the dates and times I wanted. This time, our flight down on 12/23 was only $89, but the flight BACK on 1/2 was $220! The only better fare on 1/2 was still $149 and that was for an early morning flight that we wouldn't be able to make after getting off of a DCL cruise.

FWIW, I've booked at what many people would consider high rates the last couple of trips we've made to WDW and have NEVER seen the fares go lower by more than a dollar or two. I paid just over $200 per ticket for our trip in June and that was as low as they went. Part of my problem with these latest tickets is flying at peak times, obviously, and I'm more concerned with seats actually being available vs. squeezing a few more dollars out of the process in that situation. C'est la vie.

No kidding! We are flying out January 1st, which flights are all $99 each way. If we flew out December 31st or January 2nd, they drop down to $68! Neither are feasible.

Why do they do that? Wasn't the old adage that if you fly ON a holiday, the prices were supposed to be really good?

I think the flying gods must be against us. Between the times and the prices and the fact that they are only scheduling out to the DAY BEFORE we are scheduled to fly back...........ugh, not a happy camper right now.

We'll be waiting too. We usually get around $99 each way, but they are $143 each way - for us that's almost $400 dollars more than expected and we're just not interested.

I got $79 each way from PIT for 12/25 and 1/1. I'm excited! We cancelled our June trip ( my foot is recovering from being broken and having surgery) and we would have left today. I woke up very sad, but now am really happy. I never thought I would get such cheap airfare.

I wonder why the prices are so all over the board. Buffulo at $49 - man, that'd be nice.

I got $102 each way out of KC. (I'm down in Joplin and will have to drive or take puddle jumper to connect) The price was high but not much higher than what I've seen it over the last three weeks.

Supply and demand, basically. Also, if the route is new and they are still working to attract customers, fares will be lower.

Ours were $109 each way. We can fly out of BDL or PVD, but the prices were about the same.
