What time do resorts shut down?

We’re arriving in the evening and probably won’t make it to our resort until approx 10pm local time.

Is there anything we could do in the few hours of the day left? It will be around Christmas time.

Thanks!

Trader Sam's will be open at the Polynesian Resort until midnight, and Jellyrolls & Atlantic Dance Hall are open at the BoardWalk until 1:30/2am. Unfortunately these are all 21+ destinations at that time of evening. I would say just get a good nights sleep before a park day. If you need something to eat, QS at most resorts are open until 11pm.

Thank you! Maybe we’ll grab a QS and ride the monorail around for a bit!
Where are you staying and what are your travel dates? Depending on those things, QS may not be available and the monorail may not run that late.

It felt like Beach Club shut down at 11pm when we were there last month. That's when the pool and quick service/gift shop closed.

What resort will you be staying at?

I would say by 11:00pm for gift shop and food was shut down at AKL.

I know you just got back - Is Victoria Falls still open until midnight?

Also, can you still sit outside late at night? One of the reasons we picked AKL is because of all the lounge seating all over, not just by the pool. I would be fine with pouring a glass of wine from the room and sitting outside late at night, just feeling peaceful.

I think everything was closed by 11:00pm? Also, I don’t see why you couldn’t sit outside at night? There are plenty of lounge chairs in the pool area and surrounding the outside of the pool area. It was never hard to get a chair because of this. If you couldn’t get one directly by the pool, you could get one outside of the pool.

I'm team go to the room, relax and get ready for the next day. That late at night there is not a lot of time left for you to get somewhere and enjoy yourself.
This is most likely what we’ll do. I hate our flight is getting in so late, I hate wasting a Disney day, But it made it possible for us to stay an extra night!

On my trip this month I was originally suppose to get into Orlando at 1130pm. I ended up changing it last minute because I didn't want to risk it. I am way to use to early morning flights and the lower stress they entail.

We always drive and rarely arrive before midnight, so 10PM would be early for us. :rotfl:
At that time it's best just to grab something from the food court (closes at 11) and just settle into your room, so you could be all set to get going in the morning.

That sounds like a good plan! A little food court experience and a good nights sleep (hopefully) before parks the next day!
