What time do reservations become available?

What does the "book at 11 months" or "book at 7 months" mean with respect to the time of day you can make that reservation?

When it hits 12:01 on that day on the East Coast can you reserve online (even if you are booking for a place in California or Hawaii? Are they on West Coast time? Does it wait till the offices are open at 9AM even though you are making the reservation online?

Being in NJ should I stay up until midnight to get my reservation, or won't that help me?

The exactly 11 month out, or 7 month out window from date of arrival, opens at 8 a.m. eastern time when booking on line regardless of DVC resort you are booking. MS phone lines do not open until 9 so doing it on line gives you a one hour advantage over calling.
