This year was one of the latest we ever woke up, 6:45am!

6:30am

I consider that good. For the past 2 nights, DS has been up at 3am so excited he couldn't sleep. I told him that Santa goes to Europe first and wouldn't hit the east coast til at least 5am...so he couldn't get out of bed before that.

Worked.

Thank goodness. ;)

I was surprised my teens got me up at 7:15!! I thought for sure we'd be waking them up! :jester:

Its 7:45am now. 6yodd is up and 11yodd (HA!), we will wake her after daddy is up and had his cup of coffee.

I first heard them at 5:45....but they didn't wake us officially until 6:30...AWWWWW!!!!

I was drugged out of bed at 6:27 am and she had already sorted the presents into neat little piles for the two of us

Well, everyone laughs at me, because I always have to wake up our two (DD4) (DS9). I waited until 6:15 to wake them up this year! I'm the kid in our house I guess and I just can't wait to wake them up and see their eyes light up.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Let's see....yesterday youngest DS (10) got up (and woke up his brother (13))at 4:00 a.m.We told him last night he was NOT to get up before 6:00.Well,he didn't wake US up until six,but he was up for a little while before that.I LOVE when they come in all excited and say "Santa came!" in that excited voice!

1 was awake at 7:00, but not up until 7:30 and we had to wake the other one. That is actually sleeping in very late for all of us. Had it not been a holiday I would have been up before 5:00.

We didn't get home until after 2 am, so my little ones slept in - to 7:00. :teeth:

Its hard to believe that all those months of shopping for just the right thing, then all the hours spent wrapping, that its all over in a matter of minutes. Just a flurry of wrapping paper, bows and ribbons! :)

Awake at 5:30 or 5:45, but we had a deal not to "get up" until 7:00, we caved and all got up at 6:30 with the PROMISE of a nap this afternoon!

He's in his room playing with his new video games, I'm pretty sure we don't see him again til we drag him out with Grandma shows up for brunch at 9:30.

In the past, we have run around Christmas Eve, getting in bed at or after midnight, and he has NEVER gotten up before 7:00, but this year he was in bed by 10:00.

My teens are still sleeping and the only reason I'm up is the neighbors snow blower was going. We opened our gifts last night after midnight Mass so I don't think they will stir for a while. DH is still in bed too!

I met DS in the hall at 7:35!:D It took the 15 minutes to do what took me 4 months!! hehehe We also woke up to a snow covered yard!!!:D ;) :) That was a GREAT Christmas surprise!!

Merry Christmas to all!!:D

My kids were up just before 6 am...and that is after we sent them back to bed twice...lol..It is going to be a long day..But always one of my faves :)

My 14 year old brother and I both woke up at 10 today. He normally gets up at 6 for Christmas, but the rain made him "sleepy" lol

4:15 AM  We told them to climb in bed with us for a couple of hours. They couldn't get back to sleep. We had all of our gifts open before dawn! I did go back to bed for a couple of hours.

My 10 year old woke me up at 4:00, saying "Mom, I know we agreed on 6:00, but I've been up since 2:00." I made him wait. (They get to open their stockings when they wake up anyway - you'd think that'd keep them busy!)

I wasn't a happy camper - Heck, I almost fell asleep during late service at church (I sing at several services) last night. I'm not used to being up that late! Next year I'll keep the whole family up for late service - maybe they'll sleep later!

My sister woke me up at 6:15. Dad was already up, we waited until 6:45 to wake up Mom. But we didn't open presents until around 7:45 when my brother and sister in law came over.

My kid just woke up at 2:30pm Ain't it grand to have adult children. It is about 5am where my oldest is and I guess she won't get up until she needs to leave for work.
