This is my first time doing ddp and any character meals. Magic Kingdom opens at 9 a.m. on the day we are going to do CP for breakfast. What time do I need to make an ADR in order to see the park "empty" like I have heard so much about? Do you get to see the park before your breakfast I guess so as long as I make it before 9? Thanks.

Try to get an 8:05 am adr - that way you should be able to be done in time for rope drop. If you get an early adr like that, you will be able to get in MK about 15 minutes prior (there will be a separate turnstile for character breakfast) - whereby you will have a near empty Main Street for good castle pics. Your access to MK will be basically limited to Main Street - everything else will be roped off until 9:00 am.

I would say anytime before 9 am. Try to get 8:05, but get the earliest you can. I was able to get an 8:10 and am soooo excited! Good luck.

I agree, try for the 8:05am. The best I could get so far for our trip is 8:15am, but I am still very happy with that.

We had an 8:05am ressie in April and it was perfect. We were done eating and had seen all the characters by 8:50am, we went straight to fantasy land-rode everything there and Haunted Mansion all with ZERO line and it was Spring Break time!:woohoo:

I am in agreement with the other posters. We have got an 8:05 reservation for our trip. I intend to get to the MK at around 7:30 - 7:40am in the hopes that we are let in early so I can get the emptyish park pictures.
