They were in a bowling league together, and they'd watch the immensely boring Pro Bowlers Tour every weekend. Singly, my Dad was a Mummer (Philly thing), and my Mom did ceramics.

After my dad retired he started buying and restoring antique cars. They owned a 1928 Buick, 1940 Packard, and a 1950 Chevy truck. They joined a club and would take them to car shows and drive them in parades.
