DH and I went to Sam's club today. Since it was raining, and we bought DS8 a body pillow, I asked DH to bring the car to the loading area. He goes ahead, I go out to meet him standing with all the others waiting and I see DH's car in the line of cars...he wasn't under cover yet..so I was going to wait. Well I hear and then see this guy, yelling and screaming and threatening my DH. I had no idea what was going on, but I stayed away. He was cursing at my dh, who was calming sitting in his car.

Now I turn around and see a mgr behind me, I wave him over and say this man is cursing out my DH and I have no idea why. He goes over and tries to defuse matters. During this time I find out that DH is talking to the police on his cell phone. :scared1:

It seemed like this moron had got all his items in his big truck and couldn't get out. There were serveral trucks in front of him, and DH in his little camry behind him. Now there were cars behind DH, and he couldn't go anywhere, but the moron with the big truck wanted him to move so he could move his car.

Well the cars head of moron, move, moron peels out still cursing out my dh. DH moves his car and I go to him and we start loading his car and I ask him what the heck happened. Now, the moron who was in such a rush to leave drove around the parking lot to stop and scream at dh and now started cursing me out!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3

We finish loading the car pull away to meet the cops, 5 cars showed up. DH talks to the cop, who isn't happy that they guy left, but really doesn't watn to take a report :confused3. DH says he wants to press charges, this moron cursed him out and threatened to run him over and our car over. Dh calmly told him to go ahead, he needs a new car anyway..:lmao: well this made little :rolleyes1 even more angry. Oh, did I mention he was banging on DH's window and car to try to get him to move (this was before I got there).

Well now DH has to sign the complaint Monday morning at that town's police station. Guess this guy isn't going to be happy when he gets served and has to show up in court.

Tis the season to be jolly :confused3???

I was very proud of DH for staying so calm, and I was very thankful our 2 youngest kids weren't with us!

'Tis the season :rotfl2:
People leave their brains , manners and common sense at home when they go out.

 Tis the season is right! Yikes! I'm glad your DH wasn't hurt. Some people are truly looney tunes.

I heard of a woman (mother!) that was waiting in line to see Santa with her kids, and it was a super long line. Lots of people doing the "osmosis" line thing. One too many got in front of this woman. The last woman that did it got a punch in the face and a broken nose! Waiting to see Santa! :scared1:  The ambulance came and everything. :sad2: An employee that worked at this place told my friend about it. He said after that, he had seen everything and he had to go home.

:scared1::scared1:

'Tis the season.

Some people are like powder kegs just waiting to explode. This guy was off the deep end and this situation could of easily escalated to violence. Good for your DH for staying calm.

Wow, I'm glad it turned out okay, and I'm VERY glad your DH stood his ground about filing a report. Crap like that should definitely not be "let go".

Lots of people doing the "osmosis" line thing.

   I can't think of too many things that make me more angry than this. Luckily I'm a big person, and am not afraid to stand my ground, so it hasn't happened to me often. I fume when I see it happening to others tho! :headache:

Makes you wonder why we all insist on continuing the craziness of shopping and activities that we call Christmas doesn't it?

Whats the "Osmosis line thing"?? Like when one person stands in line for 20 people, and when they get close, the 20 come and cut you? If thats what it is, that REALLY annoys me too!

People do it in lots of ways. What you describe is one way. Another way is hanging around the fringes of a line and then "blending" in. It irritates me to no end. The longer the wait, the more the irritation.

This kind of stuff just drives me NUTS--where in the heck is the personal responsibility? It is always someone esle's falut--why in the heck didn't the jerk just leave room in FRONT of his truck to get out, idiot :sad2:. I read all the stories on DIS about parents running to the Superintendent when their snowflake gets into trouble at school because precious would NEVER do something wrong--THIS is what these kids turn out like people!!!!!

Good for your DH filing the police report. Too many people are afraid to take a stand. What if this guy had gone off on some little old lady that wasn't quick enough to lock her door???

That's every season in NJ.

Glad your DH did something about it. You'll have to keep us updated.

We were at a marching band competition in September. It was held at a college and the football game that was going on before the show ran late so the line to get into the stadium for the band show was REALLY long. We happened to get their early and were toward the front of the line. We had been waiting for about 30 minutes when a mom from OUR band walks up to get in line. About 3 groups of people behind us were some other parents from our band, she stops to say hi and chat, or so we think. She STAYED there in line with them-basically budged in line. When the gates opened she is pushing her way through the line. She ended up behind me somehow at the ticket counter, pushes her money UNDER my arm to the lady to try to get her ticket before me. She then gets her ticket and takes off at a full sprint to get a seat, unbelievable. We call her the band Nazi :lmao:.

I love it... not when I'm driving and the guy is blowing his horn behind me to go faster. We pull up to the light he gets out and yells "what's the matter can't you go faster" I tell him I would be happy to as soon as the car in front of me speeds up.

Go figure.

We were in the McDonald's drive through last night at the first window where you pay. There were 2 cars in front of us so we paid but couldn't move forward. The guy behind us HONKED at us :lmao:. You are in the fricken McDonalds drive-through Dude, chill out. :lmao:

This is true for a lot them. Being at a community college, I get to see what so many of our high school kids turn out to be as young adults. Rude, obnoxious and thinking the world is all about them. Horrible attitudes and always looking for a fight. :sad2: Sounds like this guy was just like them.

I don't get why some people think they have to fight and argue about everything or cheat someone else out of something as simple as their place in line. People sometimes just amaze me.

If It had been me I would have just moved my car and let the loon go.

Her DH couldn't get out either. All the loon had to do was a wait a couple of minutes like a normal person would to safely get out.

Well crazy people don't really do simple things like that. I would have found a way to let hiim out. That just what I would have done.

I'm not saying OP hubby did anything wrong.

How awful.

Before your DH fills out the report though I think you guys might want to find out exactly what is on the report that this loony toon will be able to see and if you are comfortable with him knowing these details. The reason why I say this is that a few years ago I had some road rage lunatic chase me down 6 miles in Allentown while I was driving home from my DS's birthday party by myself with a car full of kids. Well the police report included all my license info including my address:scared1: When I pointed out how dangerous this was for me & my kids the police just shrugged. Thank heavens I have ADT or I wouldn't have been able to sleep .

Sorry that happened to you and your dh, op. Glad that charges will be pressed. I had a guy pull out a long pipe waving it out the window at me for passing him on a country road:eek: He followed me for a couple miles too.
Dh has to be to work at 6am everyday and leaves at 4:30am cause we live 45min from his work, anyways the stories he tells me when its snowing and blowing like a blizzard and people will blow their horn and tailgate him because they want to go faster. Some eventually pass him:eek:...its dark on top of it this time of the day. Some people are just crazy and in to much of a hurry in life.

i like it when the person behind me at a red light starts blowing their horn the second the light changes to green. i mean the VERY second! and then sometimes (even after the honk) i'll still have to sit and wait for the red light runners that would have hit me if i had gone when i was honked at!!!
people have NO patience.
