And, why do you think so many people from NJ love WDW so much? It's interesting...I live in Phoenix, and I am one of the few "Disney nuts" around here.

I think part of it is that we are closer than you are. Its a 20 hr drive-not short but not impossible. And it's less than 2-1/2 hours by plane. Cold winters are another reason we head south.

Also, a lot of us will probably become "snowbirds" when we're older. I guess we are kind of in training now! :sunny:

Got it!!! Thanks, guys!! I was beginning to think there was a conspiracy....all WDW "nuts" were secretly told to move to NJ...and, I haven't been invited!!!! ;)

But, things are looking up....we may be moving home to Texas!!!! I am SOOOO excited. I will only be about 2-2 1/2 hrs by plane to WDW...gosh, I really hope this happens!!!

but the waits are nothing!
We were there during NJ week last year. We witnessed 90+ waits for Space Mtn, Splash Mtn, BTMR, Peter Pan, Pooh, Test Track, Rock N Roller to name a few. It does seem this past year was one of the busiest NJ Weeks. Didn't seem nearly as bad in '99, '00, '01 or '02.

Yikes! :scared: My kids are still young, so we don't usually get to do a lot of the E-ticket rides like Space Mountain or Rock and Rollercoaster, but as my son gets older (he's 6) he does want to try a new one or two each year. I don't see us waiting for rides that long. Thank heavens for FAST PASS!
