What SUVs have you seen at National besides the dreaded Trailblazer?

We rented a standard SUV in December and picked a Buick Rendevous. We also could have chosen a Jeep Grand Cherokee and there was a third one I can't remember (wasn't a Trailblazer). The guy in the garage also said we could look at Alamo's SUVs if we wanted something different. We were happy with the Rendevous so I'm not sure what Alamo would have had.

Just out of curiousity, why is the Trailblazer 'dreaded'? I have an Envoy which is pretty much the same and I love it. What is it about the Trailblazer that you don't like?

Is there something I should know about my 2006TrailBlazer LS ?
We've driven through the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire before, during and after snow storms for 4-6 hours without any problems. It's a lot roomier and more comfortable than my old Nissan Xterra, Pathfinder, Ford Explorer...or any other small to mid-size suv that I've been in; that's why I bought it.
We're driving down to WDW from Boston in it during School Vacation week, 4/14 - 4/21.
Is there anything I should know about my 2006TrailBlazer LS before we drive down to WDW?

I can't tell you what might be wrong with it, because we have an 06 Trailblazer EXT, and we love it. We just drove from PA to Disney in Jan and Feb and it was great. Maybe someone know something about it that is problematic. So far ours has been awesome, though.

I am wondering if the Rendezvous will disappear soon since Buick no longer makes this vehicle. The Enclave is the new model and it looks sportier and gets better gas mileage.

I am glad those of you who own the Trailblazer like it. I rented one before and was not crazy about it.

I found the handling to be sloppy and the car is very thirsty. The SUV is almost always near the bottom of the Consumer Report SUV lists for reliability, owner satisfaction, and gas mileage. I decided to rent one regardless to give them a try.

For smaller SUV's I saw Jeep liberty,Saturn Vue which actually we took and I must say it was apretty nice riding vehicle.

We had problems putting in our ressies online through Alamo so we called them. DH asked what vehicles were in that category. Don't remember any of them except....the Hummer. He said there was a slight chance that we could get the Hummer 3???. They have 2 onsite at MCO and rent those out the same price as the Trailblazer.
Needless to say, my kids are crossing their fingers....

I have been driving at Trailblazer from Hertz for the past two weeks. It's not bad at all IMHO. (I would rather have it that the Saturn Vue or that small Jeep)

In Aug. I had a brand-new KIA Sorento and last week I had a Pontiac Torret.
I've also had 2 Highlanders (my favs).

I have a 2002 Trailblazer. True, she is a gas hog, but the ride is comfortable, like a luxury car. We drove from Maine to Florida (still here) in Feb, and this was the best riding vehicle I have gone long distance with. Excellent in the snow.
