You know, the ones you could spend a long time in.:)

For me, it would be Hallmark, Michael's and Barnes and Noble (although it used to be Borders).

Just the thought of spending time browsing in the Hallmark stores makes me happy. I love that place! Of course, my husband would rather do just about anything else than spend time in Hallmark, so I usually go by myself or shop there while he visits Best Buy.:)

And, Michaels, I think I could spend half a day in that place. There are so many things in that store that I never knew I needed.:rotfl:

Borders used to be one of my favorite stores to spend time in, too, but luckily there is a Barnes and Noble not too far from our house.

What stores make you happy?:) Husband and I are heading out to lunch this afternoon, then I plan on hitting Hallmark while he browses at Best Buy!

Grocery stores! :cheer2:

Funny that you say that, because there is a Fry's grocery store nearby that I love!:rotfl: It isn't like your normal, everyday grocery store. It's a megastore with more than just groceries. The Fry's near us is only a few years old and I am in love with the cleanliness, the friendly employees, the wide aisles, the deli section, the well done displays...oh I could go on and on.:rotfl: I even enjoy the music they play while I'm cruising the aisles.

Hallmark during Christmas Ornament Season (which starts in July), Barnes & Noble (also Borders, while it lasted, although I've always preferred B&N), and Best Buy are probably my top 3 "browsing" stores. I would also agree that a good grocery/supermarket is fun - but it's a lot harder to resist spending there. :rolleyes1

Furniture stores. Also, the Christmas shop in Downtown Disney. Things get dangerous when I walk through that door.

As an aside, OP, I see you changed your signature picture. I love it!

I like Crate and Barrell, the Z Gallery and such places a lot. I just wish that I had one of those previously mentioned unlimited gift cards.

I also like Barnes and Noble and Half Priced Books.

I LOVE browsing in hardware stores...don't know why but they have all kinds of fun things you never really knew existed :lmao:

Costco.............love being able to leisurely walk the aisles and see what is new.
Disney outlet
Target sometimes when I have the time to look............and holiday time.
Penzey's.........love their herbs and spices. So nice to have one in the area. I spent years just ordering online because there was no store around us.
Trader Joe's.....don't always get a lot, but love to look.

Office Max..or any office supply store. No idea why, I just love all the office supplies for some reason.

Bed Bath and Beyond.

Wegmans probably would have been one if I hadn't worked for them for almost 17 years.

Some of my favorites that I love to go shopping at and look forward to going to:
  • Wegman's (Specificall the Dewitt, NY location)
  • Best Buy
  • Marc Jacobs (I love to look through/buy their coffee table books)
  • Diesel
  • Puma
  • Armani Exchange

Edit to add:
  • Dean & Deluca

best buy, or any electronics store. or even a store with a large electronics department. i'm a gadget ho, lol, i LOVE electronics. i don't know why. DH wants to get me a GPS, and i'm so excited at the thought of a new toy, i don't know what to do with myself, lol.

Guitar Center
Any good used CD store
Wegmans
Borders (RIP)
Apple Store

I love Ikea; but only on a weekday. That place is a madhouse on the weekends.

Whole Foods and Fresh Market. I love to look at the specialty spices, olive bar, etc. The Whole Foods near us has a salt and sugar bar :cool1: Remember when you were a tennager getting excited over new CDs and concerts? I guess you know you are an adult when you get excited over smoked salt. :rotfl:
