You all are such a wealth of knowledge - it is great! :thumbsup2

Here is my issue.....

So I am just starting to plan and waiting to get a WC. I have all sorts of senarios and options going through my head on what to do after my escape wedding for food and a good time:) It will also be based on what is available of course. I will have 15 to 20 people.

My wedding is at the wedding pavillion at 2.30pm, so I figure we will be done by 4pm, cake cutting, photos etc (unless I add extra photos). Is is possible to combine a dinner and fireworks DP at Epcot at one of the outside locations rather than going to two places and if so any idea when it could start? I believe that escape receptions can only be 2 hours but as I would be combining two meal options could it be longer to accomodate doing both?

I was told that Escape weddings could not have a dinner @ Epcot. Things seem to be changing all the time, so you could always ask....but this was 8 months ago, so not that long.

so for my escape wedding i had no restrictions on time or location or anything like that. i think it is all based on your planner. best advise is to go straight to them and ask what options you have because they have the final say in what they will allow/not allow you to do.

i have seen welcome dinners and wedding dinners done completely outside. for example if you are in italy the menu is from tutto italia and so on for each country. and i know there is an extra fee charge for groups under 20.

I know that when I was planning my Escape (we just changed to a Wishes event) I was restricted a bit like Boardwalk_Bride mentioned. As an Escape bride you sometimes aren't allowed things that would normally be offered to a Wishes or Custom event.

But it all depends on your planner. See what they say because it doesn't hurt to ask.

....I might need to change to a Wishes wedding to get what I want, I would love to but I keep thinking about the extra cost....

Help me be convinced....
