Normally the Gringotts express queue is parallel to the standby and you don’t miss anything but the extended queue outside if that is open. Right now preshows aren’t running.
So the answer currently is different than in normal times. A lot of express queues have been rerouted to dump you very near the boarding point and skip most of the normal express queue. Very few preshows are running- only some attached to shows are, so that is not currently a factor. I don’t remember which queues have been rerouted. If you are a big fan of the attraction/IP, then standby may be worth if if the wait is short.
MIB always skips the preshow (not running), break room, and some cool stuff on the walls. Last I was there, Forbidden Journey skipped everything but the last room since the express queue is adjacent to the standby which makes distancing impossible. I think Gringotts is doing the same thing. Transformers queue sets up the ride- I’d always used express or single rider til last year and was surprised at how much info I had missed out on. Spiderman is two completely different experiences- if you’re a big fan you’ll want to do both.
