Hey! Me too! What years, MomofKatie...I'm trying to remember if any Jen's had rooms that looked out at the back of the house...those were the 4 girl rooms, right? I lived in one of those one year too....and one that looked out the front of the house and at the, was it Chi-O house? can't remember for sure...not Phi Mu...the other side. LOL

1984-88. I lived on the third floor, facing the back- they were the big, non-divided four girl rooms. If I remember correctly, it was room #306. And yes, we had Phi Mu on one side and Chi O on the other. We also ended up with DZ across the street (they built the house in 1986), next to TKE.

That is so cool to find another GA DG! I loved my 4 years in Athens. What years were you there? We might know each other!

Ah! I was there shortly after you then...90 - 94. I lived in the house for 3 years. I think 306 is right too for that back of the house room. That is the same one I was in and I was thinking 306 too.

So you were there with Sue S. (I feel bad posting last names! Blonde, tall, for some reason I want to say she was scholarship VP but I could be wrong...it was before me but she came back quite often and was - still is!- good friends with one of my room mates so I hung out with her a fair amoung). And Sherri G. (short w/ sort of strawberry blonde hair) would have been there a few years with you. She was my big sis.

Zeta and Sigma Sigma Sigma were started at Longwood College.

The Longwood Four are: Kappa Delta (in 1897), Zeta Tau Alpha , Sigma Sigma Sigma (both in 1898) and Alpha Sigma Alpha (in 1901). We had all four sororities at my college in NJ, too.

Wow! I just checked back in to see more posts and can't believe how many ZTAs there are!

And for the Disney tie-in... I do remember hearing the ZTA song that's to Zip-a-dee-doh-dah, but I can't honestly remember if we sang it. We may have. One of our Rush skits that we used every year I was in college (89-93) was Alice in Wonderland themed. For two years, my closest friend and I played Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Then one year (or maybe 2) we had another Rush skit that was themed for The Little Mermaid, with songs rewritten from the movie and all. I loved that skit.

It's so fabulous to be around so many sisters!
