What smells remind you of being in WDW?

The freesia cooling sticks that we purchased from England always remind my daughter and I of Soarin', because last year, we were so hot while standing in line that we started using these.

Anytime I need a Soarin' fix, I just break out the cooling stick:goodvibes

Night blooming jasmine all ways reminds me of strolling through Epcot hand in hand with dh.

O.K. this struck me so funny. We have a running joke at our house that every time my husband puts on coppertone sunscreen he come up to me and asked if he smells like Disney. Needless to say because he is the kind of person who even thinks about going in the sun he burns, he wears sunscreen often. So I am always reminded of Disney when I smell his "summer cologne"!:rotfl:

Almost every Disney memory I have is connected to a smell (i know, weird right?) And every once in a while, I'll be somewhere and a smell will just hit me and bring me right back to Disney World. This happens especially with the smell of humidity, tropical plants, air-conditioning, and Gardenias (from the polynesian), oh ya, and the smell in the air after a huge thunderstorm.....

ok yes i am crazy but when i was in my spanish class yesterday i was chewing gum (Stride) or how ever you spell it and i was talking and i swore it smelled like the Malestorm ride!! creppy. that and my friend cassie has this spray she got from disney and it was lilia from norway!! i was in such a good mood cause there is only 5 more days till Disney!!  :cheer2:

I just thought of another one- green peppers remind me of walking by the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at MK. Are there plants or something there that makes that smell?

I absolutely will swear that while we were waiting for the movie "PoTC: At World's End" to start, I turned to DH and said, "How weird. Can you smell that? It smells like Rome burning in Spaceship Earth!" He thought I'd lost my mind. But in my defense, he doesn't associate smells with memories, weirdo that he is. :)

But Rome burning is the one smell that though I smell something like it VERY seldom (obviously), when I do it's like a space/time warp straight to Epcot.

Hot black top and diesel always remind me of theme parks, not just WDW. :)

There is this shower gel I bought at Target...it is made my METHOD and it is in a white square shaped bottle...I think it is called Clean something...it smells just like the beach scene in the Soarin attraction

OMIGOD! Us too! Everytime DH puts that on I tell him he smells like Disney!

We live in Nj where the fires are right now. I just got back home, and when I was driving I smelled the air I thought of Spaceship Earth when you are going through the ruins. That bought a quick smile to my face.. but then back to reality, and I hope they get those fires under control quickly!

(We do have a wood burning stove and during the winter when I am walking outside I smeel the air and it smells like Spaceship Earth also.)

That's so funny! After our first trip in 1986, whenever my brother, sister, or I smell burning wood, or when we went camping, we would say it smells like Spaceship Earth. Gotta love the Dark Ages :thumbsup2 I can almost hear the monks chanting...

Popcorn, it just reminds me of walking down Main Street. (my favorite Disney snack)
Oranges, Soarin' and driving on the turnpike.

did anyone else notice that the Burning room in rome in Saceship Earth smells like crayons? call me crazy but i think it dose:lmao:

On DH 's and my first trip to WDW we ate at the Crystal Palace and Tigger gave me a big hug. His "fur" smelled so good (like fresh-out-of-the-dryer laundry). I have never forgotten that.

For me, it's not the smells, but the music I hear that reminds me of Disney World. For example, whenever I here 'outer-space like' music it makes me think of Tomorrowland in MK. Specifically, Space Mountain, and that one tiny monorail train that takes you through Space Mountain (because when you're in line waiting to board Space Mountain, they play 'outer-space like' music.

For me, it is my shampoo. I use Aussie and every time I open the bottle and wash my hair everyday, it just sends those warm fuzzy Disney feelings thru my body. So, I travel back in time every day.

We have a smell kinda like that. For us it is our body soap. Whenever we go down we use Irish Springs the blue bar, I acutally just found a pack of it a few weeks ago and every time we use it it takes me right back to WDW! What a wonderful way to wake up in the morning!:goodvibes

just the other day while baking cookies and brownies in the oven (at the same time) when i opened the oven i though it smelled like main street bakery (i think that the name) i was so excited!!
