What smells remind you of being in WDW?

How about hot tar? Or hot concrete? The smell of the hot sun pounding on the Disney ground. Always takes me back to WDW!

Suave vanilla sparkle body spray. I used it every day at Disney so our whole room would smell of it. I won't use it at home unless I just need to think of Disney. Fresh baked cinnamon buns remind me of the bakery on Main street. Hot tar also reminds me of Disney.

Wow! I'm really happy that there are others that experience the exact same feelings as I do when being associated to Disney! My boyfriends Ezra Fitch cologne always brings me back to the Poly and everytime I smell it I'm instantly taken back and reminded of the Polynesian lobby & the monorail rides to Magic Kingdom! I get kinda sad about it but it's such great memories that always brings a smile to my face. I just love it!

Also, that first intial smell of the Orlando airport once I get off the plane. I know I'm in Disney!

I can't wait for this years trip to see what smells I come up with next! hehe!

What about the smell of the hand stamp ink. I can't remember where else I've smelled it, but it's a distinctive chemical smell that is sometimes used in other products.

I know what you mean about the wintergreen smell. From a prior job, not WDW, I can't stand the smell of a cleaner called, "Simple Green."

Just the other day I was using a new deodorant (one of the Speed Stick scents) and it totally reminded me of Soarin' through the pines over the fishermen in the canoes. I called my daughter in, made her close her eyes and asked her what it smelled like. She guessed it.

Also, ever since we took our 6 month old and 2 year old to DW back in 1996, the smell of "Water Babies" sunblock reminds me of Disney. We must have used gallons of that stuff at Disney over the years.

There have only been a few times in my life that I have smelt this outside of WDW. They have all be at Wal-Mart too.

Cotton candy makes me think of the Confectionary - it's like the smell of walking into a bakery except it's in Disney which is way better and the smell of fresh oranges always remind me of Soarin'.....I sooo can't wait to go back!!!!

We live in Nj where the fires are right now. I just got back home, and when I was driving I smelled the air I thought of Spaceship Earth when you are going through the ruins. That bought a quick smile to my face.. but then back to reality, and I hope they get those fires under control quickly!

(We do have a wood burning stove and during the winter when I am walking outside I smeel the air and it smells like Spaceship Earth also.)

There are so many smells that remind me of WDW!!! I think one that sticks out is corn dod nuggets. That was my first night there at MK and that was one of the first things I got to eat!! Right before my first Disney fireworks show!! The smell of water for me too!! I really can't think of anything else because there are sooo many things that remind me of Disney. All I know is that I can't wait to go back!!

I agree about the Disney water smell, sometimes when I smell clorox I think of clean and I think....Disney water! hahaha

The smell in Jamba Juice reminds me of Soarin'! Takes me back.....*gulp* everyday

Wet asphalt for me! You know after it rains, and it gets kinda steamy, and just has that certain smell. Takes me back to Disney everytime I smell it!

Gingerbread Cookies!

Yikes. That smell fills the air and takes me back to the lobbies of so many of the DVC hotels with their gingerbread displays for Christmas.

I smell gingerbread and I begin to hear Christmas carols. What an association of memories!

We got takeout at Chili's the other day. My daughter got shrimp alfredo. In the car on the way home, we realized that it smelled like Sunshine Seasons in The Land at Epcot.

The smell of my Laila perfume that I found in Norway/Epcot and have been hooked to for 2 years now!
and the Smell of Gardenia ... Somthing about the smell of flower brings me back to disney!

Well, whenever my mom cleans the house, when the windows are open, or even cleaning sprays and things always, and I mean ALWAYS, I am thinking about the amazing POR hotel adventures !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Churros! My dh had never heard of them before our first trip to DL together 10+ years ago, and now a trip to Disney isn't complete without a churro.

I only wish I found something that smells like the burning scene in Spaceship Earth--I love that smell! And we're going to miss it next time because of the rehab .
