we're looking at booking AK con level and i'm wondering how big the bed is

is it 1 king and a sofa or 2 queens

thanks

Depends on what you ask for: Standard Room Concierge Level has several choices of beds:
2 Queens
1 Queen + Bunk beds
1 King + Day bed.

The Concierge Level One bedroom suites have different configurations.

we're looking at the studio con level savannah view

i'm hoping for a king plus sofa day bed

we've never stayed there before.

i thought the con level was in Jumbo

is it in a different location?

I'm sorry. I've tried to give you the info you were looking for. If the link I gave you doesn't give you what you are looking for then perhaps someone else will come along who can.

Or you could try phoning WDW reservations and asking one of their CMs.

Are you using "con" as in "concierge" ?
If so, that would be Club Level, at the AKL it is called The Kilimanjaro Club
Yes, Jambo House has Studio Villas, yes, they have Club Level Studio Villas. They would have 1 Queen bed and a sleeper sofa. ( at least the ones I am aware of )

There are only a few CL DVC units at AKL so booking a CL studio can be very difficult.

There are much more standard CL rooms at AKL.

There are five studios on the sixth floor of Jambo House. They go very quickly at 11 months out to member. Three are savanna view (somewhat blocked) and two are pool view. They have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa. If you are not an AKV owner, they are very hard to get.

By the way, all the studios are connected to a one bedroom villa.

we just stayed at Jambo Club Level...4th floor, room 4419. Very convenient since it's just up one floor and not too far down the hall from the lobby so just a minute or two to get to the restaurants, shop, etc. The room had queen bed and bunk beds. Very small room, we thought. It's not a "villa", just a standard club room, so you get a little coffee maker & mini-fridge but no kitchenette or couch.

BUT the view was fantastic. Seriously fantastic. Totally unobstructed view...yesterday afternoon (late--around 4:30 PM) directly off our balcony within easy view, were 3 giraffes, 2 zebras, 2 long-horned african cattle, one tompson's gazelle, several antelope, and off in the distance could also see a herd of impala and 2 ostrich. AS well as numerous giant birds. This was very easy to see, no zoom needed on the camera, no binoculars...

Truth to tell...we were not much impressed with AKL Club Level food/beverage offerings, nor with the room itself. But the extra $$ we paid for club level were well worth it for that view alone.
