What size bed do your children have?

All my kids have twins though my football player is needing a queen LOL

DD9 is in a twin- we got DH's furniture from his childhood room when DD was born. She is fine with a twin- her room isn't big enough for a bigger bed and all her other furniture too. She is also a small kid- she doesn't even take up 1/2 of the bed yet!!

I slept on a twin until I got married- it was fine for me, so DD gets the same.

DD8 has a twin, but we're probably going to bump her up to a queen. She wants a super plush pillow top/Euro top and it's hard to find a twin that is soft enough. To get one that soft, you have to go up to full or queen, and usually they really start at queen. We've been looking for a year at least for a very plush twin and just can't find one unless it costs the earth. For a decent price, we might as well make the leap to queen size. The main thing holding me back is that it's hard to find girly/tween comforter sets in queen. :headache: She wants the hot pink, purple, lime green, blue colors...:hippie:

DD has a twin. All my nephews have twins as well.

I had a twin bed until I graduated from High School. Then I was bumped up to a full.

College student here. At school I have an extra-long twin (although I can't tell the difference...), and at home I have a daybed. I had a full-sized bed until I was a freshman in high school and I redid my room for my 15th birthday and since it's pretty small (about 10x12) I could barely walk with the full bed in there. I miss my bed at home... it's comfortable haha - even with the egg crate and down mattress toppers the dorm beds just don't compare!

I had a twin day bed until I went away to college, and then DD inherited it when she was 2. It was fine for a few years, but it started really showing it's age, so she wanted a new bed and wanted a full, so that's what she got at age 10. DS8 has bunk beds but now wants a full. He'll probably get one in the next couple years.

The baby sleeps in a queen size bed with me. :rotfl:

DD is 17 and has a full sized bed. She's had one since she was about 10.

My dd is 10 and has a Queen bed. She has had it since we moved to this house in 2001. That is the bed (except new mattress last year) that was in our spare bedroom at our old house so it just did not make sense to put it in storage and buy a twin.

Our 7 year old daughter has a full bed. When she was born we bought her a really good crib and it converted into a toddler bed then into a full. We got the same crib set for our second daughter. She is only one so she's still in the crib.

DD 10 has a twin
DS 3 has a full

DD 10 wants a full, but since her silly mommy (me) brought her a nice bedroom set many years ago, her room is 1) too full of furniture and 2) well she already has a twin.

DS 3 has a full bc he only has a bed, nightstand and a dresser. Doesn't have all that extra girly stuff that silly mommy (me) had to buy DD when she was a toddler.

I know better now.

DS14- twin(but he needs a longer bed-)
DD10- full- she can have about 3 of her friends in that bed and still be comfortable.
ds5-twin
ds3 toddler

DDs are 10 and 7. They have full size beds, we skipped the twin size since they had grow with me furniture.

DS15 has a queen, always has because that was our guest room furniture when he was a baby. His room also doubles as an additional guest room many times/year so he will keep the queen.

DD13 has a queen, she got our old bed when we upgraded to a king. My grandpa made that bed for us for a wedding present so no way will we get rid of that.

DS13 has bunk beds in his room so he has 2 twins.

dd12 has twin beds (this set. It is pretty but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone)

dd15 has a twin as well. (she wants this, which I like but I won't get it because it is white)

we have small bedrooms. I am not complaining, I prefer small cozy rooms.
