What size are the cups at drink station?

DH and I are big pop drinkers. What size are the cups provided at the drink station? I'm trying to decide whether to pack large insulated cups or not. I know they request at least using those cups to fill your own for sanitary reasons.

Exactly. I packed our insulated cups but after reading the sign at the drink station that said "Please use cups provided" (or something like that) I decided just to keep using the ones they gave.

I'd say 8-12 ounce.

The cold drink cups are bigger than 8 oz, so I'd say about 12 oz.

12oz sounds about right. About the size of a kids or small drink at a fast food restaurant.

I have not been, but I have seen pictures.

Definitely not 8 oz. 8 oz is less than you think.

I am a weigher and measurer when it comes to what I eat and drink, and I remember thinking I was drinking like 8 oz, then I measured it, and it was really like 12.

So, from the photos I've seen, my guess would be at least 10-12.

Well there is a sign asking not to.

I don't know why it wouldn't be unhygenic on the ship but it's fine in the resorts. We brought our cups from Wilderness Lodge.

People could drink out of their own cups and then touch the spout of the soda fountain and spread germs. The ship has much more stringent rules regarding hygene and the spread of disease and face penalties if a certain percentage of the passengers contract a disease like Norwalk virus.

For the health of your fellow passengers, please get your drinks in clean cups and then transfer to your own cup if necessary.
