Absolutely. They are doing just fine from song royalties on that song alone. I saw the lead singer perform the BBT theme song (and other songs) at a private party, just him and an acoustic guitar. Very nice guy.And then there's that whole "Big Bang Theory" theme song thing...
I'm not really a fan of the band but I like the song. They had limited success otherwise.
Still love them! Rock spec is a great album and they are still making great musicBarenaked Ladies probably fall into this category. I remember buying the Yellow Album from Sam the Record Man's flagship store.
\\I'm still a big Southside Johnny fan! But growing up in Cleveland in the '70's and '80's, there was no group bigger than Michael Stanley Band. Not much on Youtube of them. Saw them at Blossom in the summer, the Coliseum New Year's Eve, etc.
Oh I remember them! I liked themHow about Toad the Wet Sprocket? They are a Santa Barbara band so to me they are the quintessential Central Coast sound. Lots of great memories.
I have always loved Big Head Todd and the Monsters. I never understood why they didn't go further.
You're probably right.Maybe their name, lol
I'll never forget this classic tv moment about NelsonNelson. They are the twin kids of Ricky Nelson. These songs are still in rotation on the old iPod and iPhone.
I loved Bruce Hornsby and the Range. Still do.
Danny Elfman ended up retiring due to hearing damage. However, Oingo Boingo may not have charted high, but they did a lot of touring in between Danny Elfman composing scores.
