What should we do?

We are going to DL/San Diego for our trip in late June (the 24th through the 30th). We will land in LAX at 9:20 and we'll need to get our rental car before heading to DL. We will have three day park hoppers. Should we keep our flights the same (I haven't booked them yet) and have our starting day at DL be the arrival day and just use the early afternoon/evening as our first day and Monday and TUesday being full days in the parks. Or should we try to fly in the day or night before and spend an extra night so that we can have three full days. Does not having three mornings in the parks matter that much? We want to do rides for our three year old, but also do rider swap/single rider for the thrill rides.

It really depends... i think if your willing to spend one more night of hotel, i would... or what you can do is go to DCA on the very first day and hit all the rides over there that afternoon to night.

I also would suggest you overlap a day like Wed, Thurs, Fri. cuz there wont be any fireworks on weekdays and Fantasmic.

There won't be any fireworks on weeknights in June? I figured with it being prime travel season they would do them. Fantasmic is still going to be down at the end of June?

sorry, i didnt look at the date... actually im not too sure... but if in June, it should be fine...

then yes, i would definately spend the full 3 days at Disneyland.

I would try to fly in the night before as well to take advantage of the morning time. If you have Early Entry on your park hopper (which you probably do since it's a 3 day), make sure you use it on either Monday or Tuesday and head straight to Fantasyland. If you don't, and you get there at regular opening time, Fantasyland is going to be more crowded than usual because both of those are Early Entry days... If you don't have early entry, I'd REALLY recommend getting there on Sat. night, going early on Sunday and heading straight to Fantasyland, then using your other mornings to hit Pirates, Indy,Space etc at opening (though space is sometimes a ride included on EE, it can also be fastpassed so you can get one early).

If you have one Early Entry the Sunday morning isn't as necessary.

Good luck!
