This year the senior class at my hs went to disney this year. they did the grad nit thing but the didn't like it. the kids at our school were groped(sp?) and ganged up on. since we are from farmland newjersey. They also said that there was too Many Teen at grad nite! So My class( juniors), will also be going to disney. So the parents at the parents meeting said let's not do it.
What can we do instead? I was think maybe a nigth a the hoop- de- do. ( I need the butter!) or a night at down town disney but i can't think of anything else! So what do you guys think? What can your disney minds come with? Thank for helping!

::MickeyMo I'm sorry to hear that. I am also from Jersey and our class did the Grad Nite and didn't have any problems. I can't believe others would treat you so badly - and because you're from Jersey? Despicable. I was thinking of PI, but everyone probably isn't 18 yet. Maybe do the park that has the evening EMH? Or how about DTD and DisneyQuest? ::MinnieMo

yeah i like dtd at night. umm, i still can't think of anything else.

Universal has one as well, it is called "Grad Bash" ..your class may want to try that one. You start off in CityWalk & then go into Island's of Adventures. The price for the school group in comp to what Disney charges.

I saw another teen from georgia post about this. Their group did the hoop de doo one night. Also dq is fun, can you do the comedy club or adventurers club at pi?

::MickeyMo In order to go into the clubs, you have to be 18. Everyone in the class may not have turned 18 yet. ::MinnieMo

I'm not 100% sure, but I was just looking at Disney's web page regarding Grad Nights (both of my DSs' schools go there for the senior class trip, older DS will be going next year), and I did see an option for Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island; they close the island for the night and open it only to the kids, and it specifically said on the web page that soft drinks are served. So maybe that IS an option :) Hope this helps! :)
