What should I do?

I made my reservations through a travel agent to stay at Art of Animation for my daughter's 1st birthday trip. I've been told by more than one source to let the hotel know if you're celebrating something. Since I already have the reservation who would I call to let the hotel know that we are there to celebrate a very special birthday or should I just let them know when we check in the day we arrive?

Just have your TA add it to your reservation.

If you have your reservation number you can also call customer service to let them know and add it on.
