What should I do w/my important stuff?

Our flight arrives Orlando at 8:55am. I figure that will arrive at the Poly by 9:45, 10am the latest, providing there is not much of a flight delay. I'll be staying concierge. I realize that there is a very good chance that my room will not be ready and I plan on catching a quick breakfast and heading over to AK for the day. What do I do with my cash? I don't like the thought of carrying all my money with me to the park. I will also have my all my tkts to the parks (8 of them), tickets to La Nouba and tkts to US/IOA. I know there are safes in the room, but if I have to store my stuff until my room is ready, do they have rentable safes at the front desk or at concierge that I could use. If not, does anyone have any advise? I don't like to charge a lot of stuff and prefer to pay cash for things like transportation, meals, souvenirs, etc., so I will have more money on me then I think I should carry. I also don't want to risk loosing all the tickets that I bought as well as our Identification documents,

First of all, consider carrying traveler's cheques instead of cash. They're just as convenient, but you won't just lose your money if someone steals them.

I'd just leave my stuff in my suitcases. Yes, it's possible that the luggage people could steal your stuff, but what are the chances? They're busy doing their jobs. Your bags will be in an area inaccessible by guests, so it's really not much of a problem.

If you're renting a car, using the glove compartment is also an alternative. Your stuff would be covered under your car insurance policy if someone stole it out of your car.
