What should I bring?

Hi everyone!

We are going to Disneyland next month for a surprise birthday trip for my twins. I haven't been to Disneyland since getting my new camera, so I'm excited.

I have a Nikon D90 with the kit lens (18-105mm) and I have a 50mm 1.8 lens for it. Should I bring them both? Should I bring just one and not have to worry about switching them out? I'd like to get some halfway decent pictures of the fireworks. I also have a gorilla pod tripod I can stick in the stroller pretty easy.

Thanks in advance!

If you have any plans on taking dark ride pictures then bring the 50mm otherwise your kit lens should be fine for most other photos and the fireworks (with a tripod). Do you have a remote release to use for the fireworks? I'd bring that as well.

The other thought is that the 50mm is a small lens and if you have the stroller to carry things in then I'd probably bring that as well if I thought I might use it.

Have a great trip!

bring them both. You can use the 50mm for the indoor rides and it is a very small lens. I normally put mine in my front pocket until I'm ready to use it.
