that would be a great addition - a ride of some kind -
so what kind of ride and what would be the focus...
(let's hope for something a wee bit more clever than the one in mexico

)
I'd have it where you enter a side alley which serves as a queue (it would require the ride building to be the alley, and the restrooms would be removed and re-positioned behind the tea shop near the outdoor stage and gardens).
As riders approach the ride building and indoor queue, they'll pass, single file, through the Tardis doors and lo and behold, it IS bigger on the inside!
The interior queue area would be a detailed replica of the inside of the 11th doctors (or 12, but we haven't seen that one yet) Tardis, and it would be a round switchback queue with the Tardis core as the centerpiece and the lines moving around it. Guests would have plenty to look at and the Doctor has all sorts of neat little interactive things littered about. Here, guests will pick up their 3D glasses as well, which are held onto the head with elastic headbands.
The ride itself would consist of a flat seat attached to a kuka arm. Each vehicle will support 2 riders. While the vehicles are separate, they will operate quite closely to one another so there are some "shared experience" rooms.
So, once clear of the loading zone, the arm will position itself with the riders facing forward as they enter the "time vortex". The arm will swing them around as they chase a spinning Tardis 3D projection which whips through the famous vortex.
Ride vehicles will also have speakers embedded in them so 3D sound effects can be achieved, outside of the ambient sound. The theme pounds in their head during this scene as they enter the apex of the vortex and the ride begins.
No idea where to go with this (or rather, too many ideas)...but, it would be a high adventure ride akin to Spidey or FJ at IoA, using a mixture of animetronics, lighting and smoke effects, and 3D projections, to build a thrilling ride experience in a park (and part of the park) that sorely needs more rides.
But, I think something like this could turn out very well! And, just think of all the merchandising opportunities! That should have Disney licking their chops.
