What scrapbook tool are you?

I am another paper. We should have a swap based on this LOL. I was wondering though Do you "collect" or use the item you came out to be the most? I certainly have a lot of paper (although I am sure others here would put me to shame)

Well, if we are going to be judged by what we collect...

Than I'm a SWAP :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

This is a cute thread. What an interesting quiz. 35% of all who've taken the survey are paper (including me). It looks like all 35% are on this board.

Why thank you AWM :teeth:

That is one of my pet peeves. My kids, while I was trying to teach them manners, would hold the door open for a whole stream of people, and NO ONE would say "Thank You"... They would get these hurt little expressions on their faces. I mean, really, how long does it take to say thanks to a child and make their day?

SOOOOO...me being the ah hem... wonderful :confused3 .... mom that I am, would stand on the other side of the door, and say "You're Welcome" really loudly after they went through, and then tell my sons...again...REALLY LOUDLY... how "nice it was for them to have the manners to hold the door open, even for people with no manners"... We got a few sorrys, but most people were just oblivious.

Now, then just say your welcome to the people themselves :rotfl2:

I love this ddavis! We had a great WDW vacation, but there was this one day (Memorial Day) in Epcot. The place was packed and people's rudeness was really starting to get to me. I held the restroom door for at least a dozen people who breezed right by without saying a word. There were still more coming, but I was fed up. I had reached my breaking point. I let the door go, and as it was closing, I shouted, "You're all welcome!"

Good for you happycampers!
I have done that too on many occassions...
I really get irked when people see my DS6 holding the door and say nothing... I very politely remind him that it is nice that he is helping and that he should be commended for such great behavior! Than there are the others that thank him..and one man even offered him a dollar for being such a great little guy. DS thanked him and told him that he was doing this because it was the right thing to do. The man turned around and told DH & I that we were doing our jobs right as parents!

My DS6 gets this sad, disappointed look on his face when people neglected to thank him. He used to tell me, "He/she didn't even say, 'thank you'." It has happened so often, that he's getting used to the lack of politeness.

A long time ago, the Oprah show did a little piece on this where they had a hidden camera and videotaped one of their people holding a door and how many people actually thanked her for holding the door. It was sad.

We went to the zoo recently, and a little boy impressed me so much. My family had gone through the exit gate, and I kept holding it for a mother and son. He looked about my son's age or so. He went through first and thanked me before his mom had a chance. I had to compliment her on her son's manners. There is hope.
