I was thinking of these things...

Some of mine were, in no particular order:

"Agree" shampoo (who remembers that one?)

"Barbershop" cologne my father always wore

playboy air freshener in my boyfriends car

the liquid handsoap at my catholic school

sniffing the papers that came off the mimiographic machine at school

"Bonnie Bell" shower gel

Funny how certain scents can bring back good memories, what are some of yours?

White Shoulders cologne! I wore that all the time as a teenager.

The smell of the ocean! I always lived near the water until we moved to the DC area. No ocean nearby and I miss that!:sunny:

The first scent I thought of-Jean Nate! Bonne Bell 1006 lotion(remember that giant bottle?).

cheese sandwiches with yellow mustard for childhood - it was a cafeteria thing

Teenage - English Leather - yikes am I that old?

Today - Ben gay - only kidding but not too far off I fear:p

Love's Baby Soft was my favorite!!! My high school boyfriend bought if for me ~ I wonder if it is still around? The old Herbal Esscence shampoo is another scent I remember.

Oil of Olay
Ban de Sole orange gel suntan grease LOL!
Jovan Musk
Downy fabric softener
Freshly popped opcorn - the smell of that always takes me back to the freezing cold movie theater we used to go to as kids!
Hot cotton candy
Beer LOL!

Shugardrawers -- I still wear Love's Baby Soft! I found some for sale a year ago. It has much more alcohol in it now then it did then, but I still love the light, clean, fresh scent. Now if I could find some Jean Nate powder and after bath splash I'd be a happy camper. LOL! :p Or Love's Lemon, remember that? :)

For those of you who like Love's Baby Soft, go to Walmart if you can stand it. LOL! They have it for sale. Don't buy the powder though unless you don't mind having sparkles all over you! :p

Remember the Bonne Bell lip gloss? I still remember the taste of the Root Beer flavored one! Ah, memories...

Coppertone- always reminds me of days spent at the beach

Noxema- reminds me of the sunburns I got after a day at the beach

Avon's Honeysuckle body lotion/cream

the white paste that we used in kindergarten, (and some of us ate it!)

Crayola crayons and markers

Shower to Shower powder

Manure and other "barn smells" would likely top my list.

Finesse shampoo-one whiff and I am back in the shower at my summer camp-Lake Byrd Lodge Forever ('80-'84)

Eternity for Men cologne...my first boyfriend wore this.

Childhood: root beer~ we never had soda in the house, but my dad would buy us each a can of cold root beer at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester MA...so the smell of root beer brings me back to being a kid at the beach...
Chantilly perfume...my mom would wear it when she "dressed up" which was rare :)
Cherry chapstick (my little sister ATE mine once!

Teen: the orginal Clairol Herbal Essence shampoo
A "Green Apple" fragrance, don't remember who made it.

"Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific!"

Love's Baby Soft

That gooey, yucky Bonne Bell lip gloss in Bubble Gum

I remember distinctly:

Noxema and Seabreeze astringent...

Colors de Benetton cologne...

Rave #4 hairspray (because it was all about the killer bangs)

Wow, great thread!! Love's Baby Soft and Drakkar Noir do it for me. Those scents take me right back. The Love's Baby Soft was more of a junior high smell, but the Drakkar- I smell that and I'm in HS again!!

Another good one is the Bonne Bell lip smackers. Sometimes I'll smell (or taste) something and think it's just like one of those.

Remember the scent of Sea Breeze skin toner?

I loved Loves Baby Soft and Loves Fresh Lemon.

Loves Baby Soft
Jovan Musk for men
Cherry Chapstick
3Brothers (I think that is the name) Cherry throat lozenges (we ate them like candy)
Sea Breeze
Noxema
Herbal Essence shampoo

Love's Lemon , pine trees, plastic (as in a new toy at Christmas),carmel corn, See's Candy store, and choclate cake baking. Come to think of it ANYTHING choclate.
