What scents remind you of you're childhood & teenage years?

Agree Shampoo
Lemon Up Shampoo
Beer on Tap Shampoo
Love's Baby Soft
Avon's Sweet Honesty

Lavendar reminds me of the Lavendar Little Kiddle I had. I was at a spa recently getting a facial and when she pulled out the lavendar aromotheraphy I got goosebumps - it brought me right back to my childhood.

The smell that brings me the most memories. That would be Peppermint Lifesavers. My mom always carried a couple of rolls in her purse- and on every car trip either to visit a relative, a trip to the store or a family vacation she would pass the roll around.

She is gone now, passed away about 12 yrs ago. Just to show you how much a scent can instill a memory. One of the department managers offered me a peppermint lifesaver and the tears started flowing once I got a whiff, totally unexpected. Very embrassing on both our parts. Never thought that would happen, and after so many years too. :sad1:

Awww, that is a really sweet memory though poochie. I can see why it would bring you to tears. :grouphug:

OMG, I can't believe the memories that are brought back with the products you all mentioned.

High school smell.... Avon made a perfume called "Tasha" that I wore religiously in high school. My boyfriend at the time really liked it. They stopped making it in about 1985, but I still have an empty bottle and I can still smell it. It is like a mental time machine every time I smell it!!! I really like it still (maybe because it reminds me of good times).

College smell.... (other than that stale "day-after-party beer-in-the-carpet" smell) Wheat Germ Oil and Honey Shampoo (remember "I told two friends and they told two friends and so on and so on). .............................P

The smell of the incense they use in Catholic churches makes me feel like a kid again with the first whiff.

Fresh cut grass...reminds me of childhood summertime
Perlier honey bubble bath....taking baths in my mom's tub when I was younger
Boucheron perfume...I wore it to one of my first cotillions
Pantene...high school

And I can still vividly remember the smell of the wood-frame bedroom window at my grandparent's house, when I would sit there looking outside.
