What role do the CL's play in this mess?

For the record, i have never recieved one letter from the staff to help out.

Do you have staff on your friends list? That is the surest way to get a request for assistance from that staff.

They do make exceptions for community leaders. If you ever see staff in game ask if you can be of assistance in any way and then they will sometimes let you be on their friends list so they can message you if needed.

I had thought this issue was over. But since a couple of folks like to keep bumping this post back to the top of the list - not to comment on the topic but to point out the perceived character flaws of those who posted previously - I thought I would update you all on the "so-called human behavior" of the people involved . . .

well i did not know that! oh well, there should be like a list of all the cls and kinda like email send them out.
