ok i was wondering what rides would be suitable for our little one, jake who is 5 is a huge peter pan fan, libby 3 is a fan of anything princess, snow white being her favorite, well emma i am sorry to say is a huge barney fan, and hates winnie the pooh despite many many attempts by me, but we are going to pontins for her to see barney in june, i mean dlp then pontins, i know where i would rather go again, anyway what rides should we do, and avoid.
thanks janexx

Quite a lot of the Fantasyland rides would be good for this age group. The Carousel is lovely and gentle. The Dumbo ride is always popular with the little ones as is Small World. There is a Peter Pan ride that would I think be fine for a 5 yr old. They would all probably enjoy charging around the Alice in Wonderland maze.

Our 5 yr old enjoyed Star Tours (a star wars themed flight simulation ride) but it would not be appropriate for the younger two.

Jane it will depend what your children are like but I'd guess that Fantasyland is the area that you'll get the most use from :goodvibes
My 4 year old DS would not go near Phantom manor until he was 5, whereas DD of 3 couldn't wait to go on Phantom Manor.
POTC might be okay although there are 2 slight drops on the ride along with some bangs.

Ditto the above - I think on the whole you have to be guided by the children.
I refused to ride BTM or Star Tours on our first visit until my just turned 6 year old persuaded me I'd be OK.

Hi Jane

I would go for Dumbo first thing as it is a really slow loader. The Flying carpets in Studios is as good and usually has much smaller queues.

Our DD (who was almost 3)loved the Carousel , Its a Small World , The Storybook crusie and Casey Juniors train. Although she is a big fan of Peter Pan she was less impressed with that, Pinocchio and Snow white rides as they are all a lot darker inside. I think if you tell them in advance it will be dark they will know to expect it though. Our DD is not keen on surprises !

That's a very good point!! ::yes:: You have a few rides round on the Flying Carpets while you wait for the next showing of Animagique.

Our DD LOVED Animagique :thumbsup2 as did her paprents :cheer2: :cheer2: You'll have to take them to see it Jane It's fab

Our Daugther was 2 1/2 at last trip and loved the shows, parades and meeting characters. She rode a lot of times Carrousel, Casey Jr, IASW, Dumbo and Orbitron. The playground area at Adventurland and the Alice's laberynth were a hit. At studios she loved Animagique, Carpets and Art of Disney Animation. Meeting characters is easier there too.
We avoid dark rides as she was scared at Pinocchio. Now, 3 months later, she is telling me she is "big enough to ride Pinocchio, so when will we come back to fhsdafhja Paris?" :rotfl:
