What Ride Would Like A Complete Overhaul For?

What kind of rides that exist today that you would like a complete overhaul, or long refurbishment for?

I have a few that I can think of that no longer exist, but I'll go with ET due to the amazing sophistication of AAs we have now and the immersive kind of technology we have today, I can only imagine what can be created nowadays.

One of the most unique features of it's time in my opinion has is the part where ET does state your name in the end, but now can be done differently. In the way that Disney for example, can scan people using magic bands and have their name at the end of IASW when saying "goodbye", or let you have access to ride photos without you scanning your band; they could get guest's name with use of tickets at Universal and have ET do this act without having to create a "passport" initially.

Of course, it could occasionally go wrong, or out of sync with names (as we all know sometimes things do not work out), but when it work I'm sure it would make kids light up.

Dr. Doom - just incredibly lame. Agree, MIB is now dated and needs some kind of update. Jurrasic Park doesn't do much for me, not sure what they can do to liven it up, but something would be nice.

I like to see MiB get refurbished. Not changed at all, just make it work better. Some of the zappers barely work and targets don't register. I got 862,125 two years ago and have ridden it dozens of times since and can barely break 700K.

My favorite ride at USO is The Mummy, but I could go for some improvements: 1) Update the first scene with new animatronics, 2) Improve the scarab effect, 3) Make the final coaster after the fake ending twice as long (never going to happen, but while we're dreaming...).

Simpsons: Upgrade the projection, and I like the idea perviously mentioned about random, different "rides."

T2: Turn it into a year-round HHN-style haunt. I hear there are rumors of there being a Universal Monsters house at the third park, though (which I'm all for!).

To pick one for each park I'd say
US: Shrek 4-D The video is old and the effects and entire experience feel subpar and just not on quality of the rest of the park. Either needs better projection and effects and new videos (like the new Dreamworks theatre at Hollywood) or tear it down for a new dark ride.

IoA: Cat n the Hat. Remember enjoying it as a kid nut now it just seems very cheap and like little effort went into it. Most of the animatronics in it are minimal movement and half the character moments are videos instead of physical characters. Would like to see it get a revamp with new figures and better effects, or a new Suess ride like Lorax or Grinch.

I have assumed Shrek is a goner. We don't even waste our time with it anymore. I don't think I'd be eager to see a Kung Fu Panda changeover, but it could be cool to have a Dreamworks ride, where you can fly a dragon, see Shrek, Panda, etc...

While Dr. Doom is a fun ride I thought the areas to line up for the ride were hot, stuffy, poorly decorated and dirty. And the ride is way too fast. It would be nice if the let you come down a little faster the first time and shot you up a second time.

Awww, I still love Shrek! It would be nice if they did something with Doom. With some theming. Maybe something like Tower of Terror. Dudley do Right could use a revamp. Don’t think Jaws is coming back! Wasn’t Diagon Alley built on old Jaws site?
No comment on Fast & Furious I haven’t seen it yet.

Shrek definitely needs upgrades as do MIB and Simpsons. Please bring back Jaws! My mom and I were there for the last ride. And please bring back the spinning on Cat in the hat, it’s boring now.

Definitely Simpsons. Spiderman could use a refresher. Cat in the Hat ride could use an overhaul.
