What ride do you *always* do first?

We always do HM first b/c everybody can ride it together and my baby sister likes it :hmghost:

it has always been pirates for us. This yr they they want to do toy story first thing when we arrive.

I am sure we will be doing tea-cups first this time. My DD is a little scared by some of the rides and the tea cups and Dumbo are her favorites...

For no reason other than we always work clockwise around the park and the line is always short, The Tiki Room seems to be ride #1 every time.

At MK, we would always ride Space Mountain first. Now that my daughter is old enough, we've been staring with Dumbo...she loves that ride!

There was no question for us about what we wanted to ride first at MK on my first trip back as an adult with kids. My youngest is a huge Pirates fan, so when we went to MK it had to be POTC for us! However, I did not do MK on the first day last year, we did EP instead and it was a disaster. My youngest asked me every five minutes if we could go to the "Pirate ride" yet. :headache:

This trip, and I'm sure for every year after, it has to be MK and POTC the first day or my youngest will have a fit! He asks me everyday if we can do POTC first. He's a real pirate:

I really like the TTA idea though, that's a really nice way to relax and look around. :goodvibes

POTC for us since the first day it is afternoon by the time we get to MK.

When we hit rope drop it's Dumbo (only ride it 1x per trip) or Buzz Lightyear

POTC for us as well! I have a tourong plan this time around so I am not sure if it will work out that way or not. And we will have DD 13 months with us, so it might be something in Fantasyland.

I try to do Slash Mountain first thing, but now that I'm a Mom, it seems that Peter Pan, Pooh and Dumbo are coming in first more and more.;)

Slash Mountain sounds a little too dangerous for the kids anyway!! :rotfl2:

MK = Splash Mountain or Pirates (it depends on the year)
DHS = Tower of Terror
EPCOT = Mission Space (Honey I Shrunk the Audience is always last because you get to sit down and not feel like you are wasting time after a long day) :3dglasses
AK = Kilimanjaro Safaris

Ugh, can't wait for our 09 trip, it can't get here fast enough! :goodvibes

We always do EPCOT first. Out first ride is generally Spaceship Earth....unless we get to EPCOT later than we expected and the lines are too long. Next time will probably get FP to Soarin' first though!

We don't do the same park every time but our list is:

Epcot - Soarin'
MK - Space Mountain
AK - Everest
MGM - Rockin' Rollercoaster

Well it depends now. If I'm with DH and it's an early morning at the MK then he loves Buzz. But if I'm alone, and it's early entry I head for Space Mountain. But, if we're in the park at normal rope drop time then I make a dash over to Splash Mountain!! ;) Oh, and MK is always the first park we hit when in WDW.

We always head to the MK and right to Peter Pan. It's not official until I hear Peter say "Off we go!!!!"

I always start with Pirates. Last trip I got to be the first rider of the day and had the ride to myself .. Was awesome

Always Peter Pan's Flight. It is so magical to fly through the air and see all the beautiful stars and hear that lovely music. We can fly!!! It really puts us in a Disney mood and sets the tone for the rest of the trip. When we took friends, we did the same thing and now it's their tradition too.

We never miss Splash Mountain. Soarin is becoming a don't miss too!
