In Disneyland (California) we would do the rides in this order; Peter Pan's Flight, Mr Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland, Teacups, Matterhorn, Snow White, Pinochio, Storybook Boats, Casey Jr. Train, Small World, Roger Rabbit. From there we would go where we wanted, but the dark rides like Peter Pan, Toad and Alice can easily get 30-45 mins for each by 11am and over there there is no fastpass for Peter Pan. We do the same thing at WDW but Philhar Magic is always first then Small World for halv of the family then after we do Space Mt we meet at Buzz, TTA or Pooh.
We would ALWAYS get Fantasyland done before the insane lines came. There was almost never a line for Pirates or Haunted Mansion, so doing them first was going out of our way for nothing.
WE always go to MK eat at Caseys and then go to ride Pirates...been that way since I was a kid, I now force my husband to do it too (well as a kid we did not eat at Caseys first that is "our"tradition)
We always go to Epcot on Monday for our first park of the week to ride Spaceship Earth. Once we experience the familiar sights and smells of the ride, we truly know we're at the World!
