What restaurants would you recommend for dinner?

Whispering Canyon Cafe is great, especially with a 10 year old

10 is a hard age to recommend for because some 10 year olds are too cool for character "little kid" stuff while others are still wrapped up in the magic. If you have a "grown up" 10 year old then I'd go for some of the nicer restaurants...California Grill would be at the top of the list for dinner. Otherwise look into some of the character options.

Epcot has so many great restaurants in the different countries that have wonderful food but interesting theming so it's just plain fun to eat there.

Each trip we have a lunch day where we snack around the world...we go to each country and get one adult beverage and a snack (dd will get a hot chocolate or choco milk depending on the weather in Feb) at almost each country. It takes a while because we explore a bit along the way but we get a taste of the different countries. That doesn't answer your question, I know, but it's fun.

My vote goes to LTT @ MK. The food is plentiful and very good in my opinion. The service also was very good for us.
Coral Reef is probably my second recommendation, not just for the food (which was good but nothing spectacular), but they have a huge aquarium that would keep kids and adults occupied as well.

We will have 3 evenings at the parks and since this is our 1st trip, I dont know much about the restaurants. We have the dining plan and I would like your recommendations as to where we can get the 3 best dinner experiences. There are 2 adults and a 10 yr old boy.
Can you also tell me where the restaurant is located so I can try to schedule it while we are in the right park.
Thanks,

Based on your party:
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort - go to from Magic Kingdom)
Le Cellier (Epcot)
O'Hanas (Polynesian - go to from Magic Kingdom)

Backups:
Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree (Magic Kingdom)
Rose and Crown (Epcot)
50s Primetime (Disney's Hollywood Studios :))

Have fun! :)
