What restaurant do you start your trip with?

We go to Artist Point the first night. I don't do parks first day if the room is ready we will go to pool hang around resort if not go to downtown Disney.

I like to go to MK or EP after we arrive and check in, since I always want at least 1 1/2 in each of these parks, so we do Coral Reef if we go to Epcot, or Crystal palace in MK.

We stay on the boardwalk so we enjoy an meal at Big River Grill at an outside table.

It really depends. Our constant is that we always visit the Magic Kingdom first, so our first restaurant is usually dinner at one of the Monorail hotels. On our next trip, it's Citricos. The last trip was California Grill. The visit before that was Kona Café. So there's not one specific place or even a set level of formality. Geography matters more.

We arrive in the evening and used to be all about chef mickey, but it just was not worth the money anymore.

This time we are going to try Kona and then watch fireworks from the beach.

We arrive in the early evening.

First night: Sunshine Seasons (Epcot)
First morning: Kona Cafe (Poly)

It really depends on the flight/hotel situation, but this August we'll be doing Ohana's the first night! :cool1:

It depends on where we are staying. We are doing Jiko first meal on our upcoming vacation.

We are driving from Atlanta, so I don't want to go to the parks on my first day, so I don't pay for park tickets for that day. Anyhow, that eliminates many options.

Also, b/c no park on arrival day, I definitely want to hit rope drop at MK that first morning. This year, we will be eating breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am. I want to check in and relax and get to bed early, so we are just going to explore our resort and eat a CS dinner there.

Even though I vowed to never eat at Chef Mickey's again, we are going to have dinner there on the day we arrive in November. I know my girls will love it, and it's easy access from the Poly, where we're staying.

Now that I've typed this all out I'm totally second-guessing this decision and am going to see if there's something else I'd rather do. :rotfl:

'Ohana is our first dinner. Always get early ADR and then head back to hotel for swimming and early bed.

This year we are getting to POR really early and hoping to check-in and head to 1900 Park Fare for late breakfast and then some MK touring before our rooom is ready.

Lol!! im more stubborn than you are I suppose...cause i also vowed never to eat at chef mickeys again either. And i havent! Lol!

For us, its a tradition to hit MK on our first day. we always ate at Liberty Tree first. love that place! This time thou, im thinking we'll go to the poly and eat at kona, and watch the fireworks from the beach. :)

Lately, our first restaurant has been The Wave. We've had really great experiences there.

This is our first time staying onsite and eating all our meals at Disney ... we are eating our first meal at 1900 Park Fare for dinner!!! It's a surprise :)

Usually it is a CS somewhere because we tend to arrive after 7 at night.

We always end our trip with a huge bang, usually Fultons

San Angel, from 2006 thru gee in 2 weeks we will be there, every year this is our kick the week off restaurant.
