What restaurant do you start your trip with?

We normally like to start off with California Grill. The first day is a pool day, so we like to go back to the room & get all dressed up. We will book our ADR so we can watch fireworks from the observation deck the first night. We have also changed it up to Chef Mickey's for the kids. Although the food isn't as yummy, the atmosphere is a fun way to bring on the Disney Vacation for the kiddos! :goodvibes

We generally have our first meal at 'Ohana and then afterwards catch the fireworks on the beach. That remains the game plan for our upcoming trip.

Depends on what time we get there. Usually we don't arrive until late afternoon/early evening. No time really to go to a park, so we go for the big meal right away. For us, it's Shula's.

Since we stay at BWV, and normally arrive early a.m. (9 -ish), we just walk over to Epcot and have lunch at Chef's de France.

We always get an early flight so our first meal after we arrive is Earl of Sandwich! :cool1:

Unintentionally our last trip and our next trip both start with Grand Floridian Cafe. But this time its for Breakfast while last time it was for Lunch. Our first dinner will be Cali Grill. We also don't do any parks the first day, just relax at the resort and enjoy the pool and Downtown Disney.

Chef Mickey's!! It was the very first restaurant we took our kids to in 2002, and I love it to this day.

I love the theming, characters, and the food.

Come for the all you can eat buffet with characters, and stay for the party break.

We don't go to parks on our arrival day. We like going to Ohana's arrival night and then watching fireworks from the beach at the Poly. This trip, depending on ADR availability we may do Boma arrival night and Ohana after our AK day. Just depends which night we can get a better time at Ohana.

Depends but usually we are so tired from getting up early for flight and then a day at the parks quick service is all we can handle that first day.

We always eat at our hotel or near it as we don't hit the parks our first night. We don't do fancy until later in the trip

we usually get in around 4-5. we save our favorite places to go for the end of the trip because its something to look forward to and were always depressed about going home. we are going to ohana and shulas our last few days. our first day we have a reservation for garden grill.

on halloween we have a reservation for cindys while we wait for mnssh to reopen. we are excited for this one too.

just disappointed we didn't get the haunted carriage ride again they got booked up quick agin this year second year we missed it in a row.

It depends on where we're staying and what time we're getting in. Some trips we just do TS at our resort or grab something from the food court, others we actually go out for a nicer meal. My only hard and fast rule is that we don't plan anything that has a credit card guarantee/cancellation penalty for our arrival day just in case of travel delays.

We recently started making a tradition of eating at Narcoossee's the first night - I love that place. We always go to MK the first day and I want dinner to be convenient so we can go back to MK after dinner.

Not to mention, since we get up so early on our travel day and the kids are always tired, they usually fall asleep in the stroller on the way to Narcoossee's and we get to have some alone, quiet time for dinner. They are always nice enough to make space for our stroller and the kids sleep for a while (sometimes through dinner).

This is also our routine as well. Nothing sets us up for a great week better than eating at Narcoossee's while watching the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes. :thumbsup2

We usually ease into it, opting to go for a CS (should we be on DDP) our first night and really take the time we have to soak up the atmosphere

Boma is a must do on each trip. We try to do it early, but on our next trip the kids asked to do Sanaa again (we had the best server, who just enhanced the meal!) So its Sanaa to start and Boma to end for this trip (with other restaurants in between):thumbsup2
