What resorts are near Universal - I-Drive?

I am looking for resorts in the Univeral Studios area. I am not doing Disney this year and really don't want to be around 192 crowd. Yeah - I want to be around the I-Drive mess and traffic. I know that Westgate has the Lakes and the Palace near that area - are there any more Resorts near that area? Remember, I'm trying to avoid the Disney area. Help is appreciated!!

Westgate is not bad, but unless you want to attend their sales pitch.... Stay at the Comfort Inn that is next to Westgate on Turkey Lake Rd. Or if you want the Reinassance Resorts next to Sea World. Other good one, The Double Tree which is across the Univeral Studios main entrance on Kirkman Rd. There's lots of hotels on I-Drive. Like The Rosen Hotels which are the best and The Peabody Hotel. The Hard Rock Hotel is OK, but depends on price alternatives. Portofino Bay is too expensive.

I did not mentioned the Nick Hotel, because it is part of the Disney area. It is off property, but still a Disney type of hotel. Did you check the Gaylord Palms?
