What resort would you NEVER stay at

I think CBR and Contemporary would be very last choices. CBR too big, Contemporary too ugly - just MHO.

The #1 place I would never stay is FW. I just hate the whole camping thing. #2 on my list is GF. I stayed there, was really exicted about staying there, got there and just didn't like it. Wasn't worth the money to me. But if someone wanted to put me up there for free, I'm no fool, of course I would go, after all I would be in Disney World.

I wouldn't stay at the Poly because it is too much like home. Although, I personally love the theming/decor and restaurants at the Poly, it is hard to stay away from it. I am not into the Values either. Maybe if my kids were younger.

We would never stay at the mods---save money or go all the way. We would also never stay at the GF---just seems a little spooky

Definitely not at any of the value resorts. My husband gets so many reward nights from his business travel, we can stay at any hotel in the InterContinal Hotels group (Holiday Inns etc) for free, so I wouldn't pay to stay at a value. To stay on property, it's Deluxe or home away from home all the way.

I'd never stay at FW. I'm just not a camper kind of girl. Also, the GF. It's way too stuffy and prissy looking for me.

but, I have no desire to stay at POR. The theming doesn't appeal to me. Perhaps because I live in the South, I don't know. It's too small, I like bigger resorts and I really don't like the location. We have stayed in AS Music twice, a long time ago but I won't do it again. So, I can't really say "never" there, I can say "never again." I would never stay at POP.

Here are the resorts we haven't tried yet: Boardwalk, AKL, POP, WLV, BCV, Saratoga, Old Key West, Fort Wilderness Cabins. Out of those, we really want to try the BCV (love the Beach Club and Yacht Club so why not?), AKL (but only for a long weekend trip, it's too far removed for a week-long trip), and the Fort Wilderness Cabins.

I would have to say the AS resorts or PC. I think we are just too spoiled by staying on the monorail!!! I would love to try some of the Epcot resorts once the kids are grown and not spending most of their time at the MK. We visited BC, WL, GF and BWI during our last stay at the Poly, and no one liked the GF, isn't that funny? It didn't feel welcoming the way the rest of the resorts did.
I guess I should add that I too am DEFINITELY not a camper.

I wont do the CBR, like someone said before I live in PR and that would be like staying home. I wont do the GF neither, to 'girlie' for me and my boys. And I will do again with all my heart the All Stars, I loved ASMo.

I think I would have a hard time staying at a value resort. After staying at the GF, everything else pales in comparison for me. Plus, having the monorail right there spoils you. However, I guess "Value resort Disney" is better than No Disney At All!!!!

probably never: swan or dolphin- I've never even visited but no one seems to really rave about them, and just how disney are they?

Well after reading about what was on the bathroom floors here I would say Never ever a value resort- No all stars ever. And after our last stay at CSR my DH says never again- although I liked it. He is more of a hotel snob. I find it funny that everyone has their own reasons for likes and dislikes. I guess that is why Disney is so good at the whole resort thing. Something for everybody.
GF here we come........We stayed regular room there once and on our last day(we had stayed 10 days) they had chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room to thank us for staying.(and spending I guess) but it was still a nice little perk to us. I am normally a BC girl but we did have one horrible stay there that made us take a little break.(the room needed updating and the staff was beyond rude that trip-)

Always said I'd never stay at GF, then did so last year and absolutely loved every second I was there. I also said I'd never stay at a value and then traveled with a friend on a last minute weekend and stayed at POP...turned out to be fun.

BUT there are 3 Resorts for sure will not try no matter what:

Ft Wilderness Cabins or Camping
All Stars
CSR

There are others I'd rather not stay at again, but you never know...

Any of the All Stars or Pop Century. I'm sure they're fine, but the decor doesn't appeal to me. I'll save up more and stay at a moderate or deluxe, even if that means I go a little less often.

I absolutely would never stay at the CBR or CS... they seem so bland. I think I'd rather save a little and stay at a value, or spend a little more to stay at a deluxe.

I absolutely *adore* Pop Century, and the All Stars. I was very unsure of Pop Century, but loved walking around looking at everything. And they look so fun at night. We stayed in the 80s when I last went, which was fitting because we were all early 80s children. And who can resist the giant, glowing rubix (sp?) cube after a long day at the parks. All Stars I've been at a few times, and love ASMus the most.

But of course, the Polynesian has stolen my heart year after year since I was six. It is my all time favorite place to be on earth.
