What resort do you absolutely have NO desire to stay at?

I don't know that I'd say that we'll never, ever stay there, but it's hard for me to envision a situation where we'd stay at the Grand Floridian. I don't actively dislike it, but it's my least favorite theming of the 4 resorts in the MK area, and it's less convenient than the CR (walk to MK) or the Poly (much faster EPCOT access). With that being the case, I think I'd pretty much always pick another resort if I were staying in the MK area, especially with GF being the most expensive option there most of the time.

SSR, the theming is a bit bland for me. Also the Contemporary. Yay, monorail resort, but again, I don't like the theming. Too concretey.

Let me start by saying I would have voted CR until I stayed there (w/someone else who was paying....) 2 years ago and I REALLY enjoyed it! You cannot beat the location and the rooms are HUGE.

I've stayed at all the values, all the moderates, AKL, SSR and CR. My reluctant to stay vote would be OKW--seems like it is so far removed from everything. But hey, never say never!

These remind me that OKW, and SSR are on our list of "I don't want to" as well...

as well as most of the villas - I just never like the decor better than the actual resort (and that includes WL Villas - yuck).

Yeah, I'm guessing our "quest" was pretty futile...

For me it would be POP and OKW. POP because I don't like the rooms. They look too dark. OKW becuase there is really no food court area besides the Turtle Bar.

The Poly-to old and dark to me. AS resorts are NMS either.

I guess I'm just not big on the the themed resorts. When I leave the park, I want to leave the crazy behind me and be somewhere a little more adult, for the lack of a better way of putting it.

Contemporary. Love the location but it just seems like a big bland hotel
anywhere to me. i remember thinking it was way cool back in the 70's.Never got to see it in person until 1996 and by then it had lost its appeal to me.

Any value resort. Stayed at one once and will never do it again.
Ft. Wilderness- I don't like camping and the cabins remind me of trailers. Oh, wait....
OKW. There's just something about the theming that doesn't grab me.

Fort Wilderness. I hate camping. All Star Sports. Don't like sports much either. I didn't think I would like OKW from what I read but that was what was available on our last trip and I loved it!

I think I am in the minority but i have no desire to stay at WL, being from Canada it reminds me of our winters up here which I try to escape from! lol
it reminds me too much of great wolf lodge.

This is exactly what I was going to write...it reminds me of the Great Wolf Lodge. Or the Poconos. Not that there is anything wrong with the Poconos, just that it's not very Florida to me

We won't stay in anything other than deluxe - sorry, we are "balcony" people. We love WL and YC. The only other resort we might try is AKL.

• GF - From pictures, wouldn't like the décor.
• Poly - I live in Florida 365 days a year, I don't want a tropical theme.
• CR - too much concrete
• BC - few full balconies
• Swan & Dolphin - by the time they add their resort fee and daily parking fee, I might just as well pay to stay at one of the Disney properties
