I'm making a list for my next trip, and I thought it would be neat to read everyone else's opinions- Forget about the rides and the shows, what things at WDW really make you happy? For me, it's things like listening to Beauty and the Bees inside the tree of life while waiting for Tough to be a Bug. Sitting by the fireplace on the 4th floor of the WL with a brownie nourishes my soul. Sitting right next to the huge aquarium inside of Living Seas and watching fish swim right by my head puts me in a state of total relaxation. Eating zebra domes on a beach chair outside AKL makes me want to stay there forever.

So, forget the thrill rides, all of the things everyone loves, what brings you bliss at WDW? :cloud9:

Eating a Mickey bar whilst waiting for the parade, seeing a child-any child- the first time they see Mickey Mouse, being told to "drag my wretched body into the dead centre of the room", the moment on Spaceship Earth when you carriage spins round and you look up at the earth, the first hug I get from Tigger, all the other hugs I get from Tigger-I understand hes taking out a restraining order next time :rotfl2:.The realisation that today is only the first day of my holiday and I have 9 more to come :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc t

Driving into OKW and being to "Welcome Home", taking the first walk of our trip down Mainstreet, finding a hidden Mickey that I haven't found before. :cheer2: :cheer2:

The smaller pool at the Wilderness Lodge by the Villas. I LOVE that pool. I spend hours lounging and swimming there everytime we go. I like the jacuzzi in that same area, I miss it there SO much.

Seeing my DD face light up.

Going through the DISNEYWORLD sign.

Buying the popcorn just before a parade.

The zippe do da song from Splash Mountain.

And walking around World of Disney watching everyone rush around trying to find the perfect gift.

When I first see the Welcome to Disney World sign makes me happy. But what I really love is walking into my Disney hotel room and finally know I am settled it!

Watching Wishes, reciting the Ghost Host spiel in perfect sync, Dole Whips, when I get on the rides I love just acting like I'm scared to death and say crazy things. I love riding the Monorail...just to ride the Monorail. Walking around, looking at everything, trying to find the little details that I have missed before. Oh, yeah, I love going under the sign too!!

The minute we pull up to the Yacht/Beach Club.... sitting by Stormalong Bay... waiting for the bus in the morning when the air is still damp and the excitement of anticipation for the day ahead.... Dole whips.... the old time western music piping through the sound system in Fronteirland esp. when you're in line for Thunder Mtn.... seeing my (younger)daughter's face when she sees a character and how she hugs each one of them so tightly (this next trip hopefully my older DD will be doing the same as she's supposedly gotten over her fear of the characters!)... watching Fantasmic..... browsing through the World Of Disney store @ DTD..... watching kids in the squirting water in DTD and Mickey's Toontown Fair.... I could go on and on and on....

Fountains - love the Epcot fountains and the quiet fountains at POR and FQ.

--Walking into the MK and seeing Main Street and MY castle!

--When the narrator of Illuminations "blows out" the torches just as the show is about to begin!

--When Steamboat Willie appears on the steamship during the Fantasmic finale.

--Eating a funnel cake and watching the world go by.

--Being greeted by Art at the Beach Club

I could go on & on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Hi, Mrs. Tink here...Yea he's right, the first look at Main St and the view of the castle and I'm in heaven!

There's many more though...

The big fountain in Epcot

Our girls, and how much they enjoy this trip-even at 16 and 14 they can't wait to get there

The Silhouettes made in MK..can't believe how much they resemble my kids

British Invasion

The magical mood that overcomes most everyone

Walking through POR at 6AM when all is quiet

Magical moments like when it rained in MK we were headed for the exit, thinking the evening was ending early when my girls spotted a CM bringing a pure white pony out of the barn. Of course we stopped to see it, and low and behold the rain stopped shortly after and we headed back ino the park!
:tink:

When you walk thru the gate and it hits you, your actually here. The sites and sounds of the Parks just puts you in that magical relaxed state of mind.

There's nothing like the feeling of driving under that beautiful WDW sign, I actually CRIED last time we drove in!

Opening the door to our resort, and feeling that at last we are home! (Oh, what I would give for that to be true ALL the time!)

Believing in the magic as I watch the MK park opening ceremony.

Waiting in line for Peter Pan, my most magical ride!

Looking at my husband's smile, and realizing that I have actually converted him to the magic of Disney! :earboy2:
