What rate have you gotten at OKW with a code?

Just curious what you have paid for a studio, 1br or 2br villa at OKW with a code or AP rate?

I did see that the last (expired) AP rate for 4/26 through 7/3 was $270 for a 1 bedroom.

The best deals I've seen on OKW is to rent the points from a DVC member. I personally have never rented points but I've heard they can be a great deal. Points cost between $8 and $10 each. A studio during Magic season (June/July/August) is 11 points a night Sunday through Thursday, a 1 bedroom is 22 points and a 2 bedroom is 30 points. That means if you can get someone to rent you the points at even $10 a point (which is the going rate) you can get the 2 bedroom for $300 a night. If you find someone willing to rent at a lower rate (like I've seen $9 or even $8) you'll pay even less!

The nice thing about renting the points is that you don have to wait for the new codes to come out. You can go ahead and do it now!

I rented points from a great person via the board. The CRO code rate was $184 for a studio and $270 for a one bedroom plus 11.5% tax - I am in a studio for one night and one bedroom for two nights for $500 total (50pts X $10 each) so I am very pleased

I have 2 nights cash booked in an OKW 1 bedroom for Friday & Saturday of next week, then 5 nights points. The rack rate is $385 (plus tax), the DVC member rate $289, Code $285, AP $270. Friday & Saturday are 48 points each, so it didn't make sense to rent points (or even borrow my own).

Since Friday's and Saturday's are twice the points it is almost always a better deal to pay for those nights rather than use points. Sunday through Thursday though it seems like in most cases the points (even at $10 a point) come out cheaper than the rack rate.
