What programs do you use

I want to make a scrapbook after our upcoming trip and want to know what software everybody is using, where to get it and how much it is. I would need any easy one because I am very new to this but would love to try to make some digital pages I am a paper scrapper never done the digital thing so please any help you guys canoffer or just post links to where I may find this info Thanks so much

I use Photoshop Elements v 9. Was able to get it through buy.com on a 1-day sale for $60 with a $20 rebate and $20 shutterfly credit (those 2 things should be available through 12/31)

I love this program because I can also use it to correct my problem photos. AND it has a wonderful organizer so can easily (once set up) retrieve pictures according to subject, etc.

I follow a BUNCH of blogs and pick up their digital supplies for free. Besides buying 2 versions of PSE, I have only spent $3 total on actual items.

Is this fairly easy to use? new to this so I hope so and I looked at the kits when you buys and download then you can see all the stuff in them to use or is it like a cd they mail you sorry like I said so new to this
