What prices do you have for August Rentals?

I can't seem to find very good prices for car rental August 13-August 24. The least expensive rate I came up with was over $300. for the ten days. I ended up being charged for 1 week, 3 extra days and then so many extra hours. Is $300+ average? I am starting to think that it is too early since there are not too many codes out for this time period yet.

I'm not going in your timeframe - but got a Nat'l fullsize for 8/28/05 to 9/3/05 for $109 - used Priceless & ent. book coupon. I did notice when checking on pricing for that time that it's gone up to almost $295!!! What gives??? Hopefully will come down soon for you - have a wonderful trip!!!

I got 115.00 with all the taxes for a week-August 5-12. This is for full size car with National.

I have $170, taxes included, for 10 days 8/17-8/27 with National, Priceless code and Entertainment coupon. But I checked and those rates are doubled now. Booked over a month ago.

our dates are 8/24/05 - 9/2/05 and we got a full size (10 days) with Priceless code and $20 off Entertainment coupon for a total of $174. I check almost daily and the rate keeps going up. I would keep checking to see if it comes down at all ~ I have noticed that the people that are finding their rate lowered are for travel dates coming up soon (April, May, June)

I'm looking for 8/19-8/27 and getting outrageous prices too. I'm just going to wait until June or July to book...hopefully prices will be better then.

End of August, 7 days, minivan - $231 using Priceless and ENT. Expecting this to come down.

Using the two codes the rate comes out to 381.00! Hopefully, there will be some good codes come June/July.
