We are spending 3 1/2 days at the parks, half day on day 1 at MK, day 2 at HS, day 3 at Epcot and day 4 at MK. Trying to decide if we should do the BBB on the first or second day or do it as a grand finale at the end? Not sure if the hairdo will prevent swimming (meaning the girls won't want to get it wet) so it would be better to do it the last day.

My DD has kept the hairdo for as long as 3 days, no swimming as we go in the off season. However while she liked having her hair done while we were in the Disney parks where there are lots of girls running around with it, she was embarrassed to have it in Sea World. So I don't know if your DD would like to have the hairdo at home.

We always plan a whole day around it. BBB in the morning, lunch at BOG or Akershus, dinner at CRT. Princess Meet and Greets and attractions. No swimming that day. We've never kept it in for more than just that one day. On your itinerary, I'd be more inclined to do it on your full MK day towards the end of the trip.

I was on hold for 40 minutes today trying to book, the only day available at a time we could do was the day we were going to HS, so scrap that plan! My girls are so excited for BBB if we make it to HS great, if not, it's all about MK for them. So it will be smack in the middle of our trip, considering it will be Feb, I doubt swimming will even be an option because of the weather.

I also wanted to do BOG or 1900PF but both are booked our entire trip, I will keep trying for BOG but CRT is closed for renovations. This trip was just offered to us (gift from grandma) last week so we missed our chance for good dining options.

To me, that's a chunk of your time there that for our family, no one wanted to ever do (it was a bit of a struggle to get my DD's hair pulled up for school when she was young - she's not a "girly girl").

You seem to have little time in the parks, so it seems a shame to spend time on BBB unless they are so dead set on it.

Maybe do something in the room, buying a tiara at the store at home?

My kids get their hair washed daily, so BBB would be a waste. Also DD is a tomboy! Saves me $$

My girls would gladly skip rides if it was in exchange for BBB, it's my 8 year olds favorite memory of her trip to Disney 4 years ago. It is actually the most important aspect of our trip other than "going" to Disney.

My girls LOVE the BBB and would exchange rides for it anytime! We have done it twice - The longest we were in there was 45 mins and that was for the biggest package. The fairy god mothers we had were AMAZING - took time to get to know our princesses and made sure they were on cloud nine. I felt the location downtown wasn't so rushed and the experience was more magical between the two of our experiences :). That being said, I would do it your FULL day there - it costs a lot and your princess will want to "rock" it as long as she can! Even though it does stay for days, my girls heads get itchy from the gel/hairspray so we usually only keep ours in for the day :goodvibes enjoy!! :goodvibes
