We have to do the Magic Kingdom first princess: - it's become a tradition for us now! :D

I dont have a preferrence..I like to change it up..no routines here.

We've always done Magic Kingdom first. It never even occurred to me to do another park first!

Magic Kingdom first, specifically It's a Small World. After we ride that, the vacation officially starts and we can go or do anything we want! Whoo hoo! :bounce:

I usuall start at Epcot. The last few times I have stayed at either the Boardwalk or BCV and since Epcot is a nice easy walk, that is where we usually go first.

Usually MGM, including this past trip. :)

When DD was younger we always did MK first. This year, since we were staying at the Dolphin and arrived late on a Friday--I thought we'd try MGM first. I'd discussed it with the family before we arrived--again the night before--everyone was fine with it. DD loves MGM for the Rock-n-Rollercoaster so I thought this would work out great. Not as busy as the MK on a Saturday, etc.

Well, we took the boat over--rode R-n-R several times, then my big 13 yo turned to me and said, "You know, it won't feel like we're really here till we go to the MK." So, after lunch and a rest, we did just that!

Well, now I know. Next time--even on a Saturday--MK has to be first.

Definitely a Disney park...and not a water park.

We go with the first bus that comes a long :)

It's not my favorite park, but my vote goes to MK. I need to see the castle first, it's a family tradition.

When it was just DH & I, we did MK first - had to start out w/dinner at LTT.

But this time, since we'll have our 2 DS's w/ us, we're following the "Don't do MK first because the kids will be disappointed in the other parks after doing MK" rule. So, we're starting w/ EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, MGM, and then MK. Plus, some friends are coming up to meet us on the 4th day & they want to do MK, so we're saving it for them.

It really depends on what day we get there and if we are staying
on site or off. DS would go to JUST MGM and EPCOT if he had his
way. He loves those thrill rides!

As soon as I can drop my luggage somewhere, I'm on the first bus to EPCOT. I have a routine when I get there. Eat at the Electric Umbrella outside and watch the fountain, then over to send postcards and then off to Test Track.

As much as I love EPCOT, I have to agree with the person who said it really doesn't feel like you're at WDW until you get to the MK. Sometimes that's not until day 3 or 4 for me. Seeing the castle and slurping on a Dole Whip... AHHH! All's right with the world! :teeth:

We always have to start with MK. We never really considered doing anything else first!

We go to Magic Kingdom on the first full day. There is something about walking up Main Street early in the morning. :)

On arrival day we usually go to Epcot. :)

I know this is terrible to say but we do Animal Kingdom first to get it out of the way. Not a bad park just not on our favorite list.
