What out of park Transportion is available?

I plan on flying to Florida and spend 7 days in WDW. The only attaction outside of Disney that we plan to attend is Seaworld. What types of transportion is available and approx. cost. Also I've never rented a vehicle before, if I go that route what price, after all the add ons, would I be looking at? It would be for two adults and two small children. Thanks for any help.

I know that Mears does attraction tours - http://www.mearstransportation.com/pdf/rates.pdf - looks like a rate of approx. $14/adult from WDW hotels. My understanding is that they drop you off at a certain time - and pick you up at a certain time and that time is not negotiable. But that may have changed.

We also rent a car occasionally on-site at Disney and have used it for off-Disney travel. We've gone to Sea World, Cypress Gardens and the Cocoa Beach in the past. It is often less expensive to rent for a week, but not always. I am certainly no expert in this area, but I would counsel you to take a look at some of the rental car deals offered by National, Hertz, etc. If you plan only to go to Sea World and nowhere else off-site, a car might be an expense you don't need. It depends so much on the needs of your family, your budget and whether you just don't want the hassle of driving on vacation (I understand that one! ). Especially with little ones, a car can come in handy - you can just whisk them off when they get rammy. Waiting for Disney transport tests the patience of even the most angelic of kids - and adults!
