What other subjects would you want to listen to the DIS team talk about?

Not a bad idea...just extremely difficult and we would NEVER get any "insider" info....which is what everyone wants to hear.
Yep, totally understand, which is why I said I "respect the rules, and don't expect any big secrets" when I made the suggestion. However, I for one, would still think a CM's "workaday world" would still be interesting to hear about. I always love to hear about some of The Team's experiences when they talk about them. I'll bet you've got some great stories (and by "great" I don't even mean salacious - I mean touching, interesting, etc.) to tell from all your years with Dreams, and ABD's, etc!! Heck - I'd even dare to be bold enough to believe my years of working in Emergency Management and for a Police Department would be interesting to some.

I love the restaurant reviews. They translate really well for audio only. I listened to the Tony Town Square review on the app while I was waiting for a bus to Downtown Disney and couldn't stop laughing.

Steve...do you like anything we do?:)

You post that you don't stay on site, you dont eat in Disney restaurants, you don't watch the videos we put out.

Are you getting anything out of our show?

It seems that we don't do anything right.
Kevin, I'm very sorry if something about my answer came off as critical. It definitely wasn't meant to be. The question was what would we like to hear the team talk about. The first thing that came to mind was that I'd like to hear more offsite coverage. I really enjoyed when The Trip did that and I miss it. That certainly doesn't mean I don't love what you do currently. I listen to the Tuesday show every week and most of the other shows, as well. Just tonight on my way home I listened to the best counter service at Disneyland episode even though I haven't been there since 2005 and have no plans to return. I'd probably tune in to listen to you guys reading the phone book. The show never fails to entertain and educate me.

It is true that we don't stay onsite and eat very few meals onsite. That's why I really value the offsite reviews and information.

As for the videos, I rarely watch any, not because they aren't any good. The ones I've watched have all been great. I just don't have the time to take them all in. I wish I did.

I'm greatly looking forward to coming down in a few weeks for the Mega Meet, seeing you all again (we're all having DIS meet withdrawal this year), and being there for the 10th anniversary show.

So yes, I absolutely get a great deal out of the shows. Again, I apologize if my posts ever suggested otherwise. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Wow - sorry, but I have to say "Dang!" and "OUCH!". I don't think I'd be much of a human being if I didn't stand up for a forum regular that I'd like to think of as also a friend if I didn't say I think that's a bit harsh......and again, "Dang" and "OUCH". I'll sleep on it, and see if I feel the same in the morning.

We have to jump through hoops to have a Cast Member on the show.

Then Disney sets the hoops on fire and puts them over a pit of live snakes.

For a CM to talk to the "press" they need to have media training and they usually have a "handler" that accompanies them.

We also have disclose whet we will ask and how we will ask it.

Cast Members are not allowed to discuss their jobs otherwise.

Getting back on track, perhaps former Disney CMs. I love the inner workings and aspects coming from team members that did work at WDW. Dustin's stories were always great, plus Corey with the pressure washer and bleach, and Craig's short stay.

I don't know if the same rules apply, but talking to someone who was Mickey's best friend but has since left the company would be amazing.

I've seen the utilidoors and been back stage at Epcot, but getting the perspective of someone who clocks in there five days a week and hearing what a day as a face character is like would be fabulous.

Another aspect would be to skype with international cast members once they return home. I have had many a pint talking with Carl at the Rose & Crown, but he has lived in Florida for at least 7 years now, so the perspective of a one year ICM would be cool.

I don't know if after their contract is up, do the former CMs still have this confidentiality.

Because I never meant to make anyone feel bad, I have deleted all of the posts regarding this.

If I have hurt your feelings or made you feel bad, I truly apologize.

I'd like to see show concerning larger sized people in both Universal and Disney parks. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it or even cares about the topic, but I think it could be a service to lots of people afraid of entering a park or going on certain rides.

I'd also like to see a show on the benefits/cons of solo traveling.

Also maybe some shows dedicated to attractions and hotels on I-Drive...it's not Disney related or Universal related but could make for a one off show.

I would be interested too in a show about info/tips concerning anyone thinking about moving to the Orlando area.

I would like a show on the best ways to bribe grandparents to put up with their grandsons, so parents can sneak off to a Disney park for a few days...or just talk about how you feel Disney has changed Broadway. You know. Whatever works for you! :rolleyes1 :lmao:

Well, it's resulted in ticket prices to Broadway shows tripling and also that entire area of the city being cleaned up and made more wholesome - used to be filled with peep shows and that ilk

Tell me about it. Now I need to take the subway five stops from Penn Station to find the peep shows.

I listened to the show about the top counter service restaurants at Disneyland. I'd love to hear a similar show for Disney World. We are a counter service family and I happen to think WDW has some excellent CS offerings that many folks overlook. A big reason why we're able to wing it on our trips, coming with no advanced planning, is because of the great CS options. Even though we have our favorites, I know there are plenty of places we have yet to explore, especially in the resorts, so I'd love to hear about everyone's favorites.

I am currently listening to some old shows from 2012 which featured a segment on best CS in each park. Really interesting to me. I would like to hear an updated version of that.

Corey's Carnivore Corner with Corey and friends reviewing AYCE and buffets. As an added bonus have a pre show/post show weigh in to see how much was eaten.
