What not to miss at Epcot?

*Mission Space
*All the movies in the different countries...China, France, Canada.
*Counter service restaurant in Japan...Yakitori, I think...for hot tea or drink and relaxation. If you are lucky enough to have it all to yourself like we did it's like being in Japan.
*Ice station cool
*School Bread from the Norway bakery...had to go back twice for that.
*Off Kilter, Canada's band
*China's gymnastic performance...all were children
*Human statue who tormented the tourists trying to take a picture with it...Italy
*Cerano de Bergerac, mini play...France

I guess it's would be better to say what I didn't like.

And I really thought it was interesting that all the young people working in the different pavillions are at Epcot for a year from their respective countries. We visited with several of them to learn just a bit more about where they lived and what they liked best about being in Orlando

The Chinese Acrobats are wonderful. Their stunts are really amazing.
I like to get some sweets at the bakery Norway. No, I'm not kidding!
I adore the "Human Statues"! They are amazingly convincing and put on a marvelous photo-op show.
The Masquerade in Italy is also a nice treat.
Canada has beautiful landscaping and the entry to their movie is one of my favorites with the waterfall.

And how can I forget...
"Grail, Grail, Grail, huh!"
There are actors at England that put on a King Arthur Show with audience participation and it is a riot!

The cinnamon rolls in Norway!!!

Also, Test Track is one great ride!

The China movie was awesome! Rio del Tempo is cute. Malestrom is really cool.

Here are my "must sees" when we (my wife and I) go to EPCOT:
-- Spaceship Earth: As the symbol of all of EPCOT, the attraction's animatronics is classic Disney
-- American Adventure: A very well put together show, with lots of drama and some humor...and the animatronics figures are amazing.
-- Illuminations: Much more than a fireworks show, the incorporation of music lasers and lights makes this a show not to be missed.
-- Maelstrom: A fun water ride that is well done.
-- Journey Into Your Imagination: Lots of "Dinseyesque" aspects to the attraction.
-- Test Track: Not worth the amount of money Disney put into the attraction, but still a good ride nevertheless.

A sidenote: El Rio Del Tiempo? A "not to be missed" attraction? It's a relaxing/air conditioned ride, but I would put it down on your priority list.

I like another poster's idea of giving you their favorite top ten. Here are mine: (not in any particular order)

1) Test Track
2) Honey I Shrunk the Audience
3) Spaceship Earth
4) Mariachi Cobre - entertainers at the Mexico Pavillion
5) Illuminations!
6) Dine at one World Showcase Restaurant - pick your favorite cuisine
7) American Adventure show - it's fantastic! Some of the best audio-animatronics at WDW
8) Cranium Command
9) France Pavillion - lots of entertainment - Living Statues, quartet, mimes...be sure to catch as much of it as you can and enjoy a pastry in the meantime
10) Living with the Land Boat Ride

Have fun - Epcot is a delight!

Just a question...do the living statues move about the World Showcase? We were there last week for 2 days and they were in front of the Italian pavillion both days.

The living statues were formerly in France, but now reside solely in Italy. I wondered about that for a while too, but I've done some research, and in at least the past year, they've been completely in Italy.

Ack, I forgot about Cranium Command! A lot of familiar faces in that show, and quite funny. 'Course, now it's a seasonal attraction.

Seasonal???? That is one of my favorite too. Dispite my wife's objections we have to see it every time we go.

So it's seasonal now? I havev't been there in two years so I wouldn't know.

OK, I'll say it. Don't miss ..... Beers around the world! LOL

When we were down in December, we got back to the WL and my elsest DD11 said , "Daddy didn't get any souvenirs" my youngest DD7 answered " yeah but he got a lot of beer" .

Always enjoy Epcot!

Cheers,

Schuey

Yeah, the whole Wonder of Life pavilion has taken it's first step towards being mothballed. It does not attract crowds like it used to. It will operate like CoP and Timekeeper.

My favorite park is definately EPCOT, I love to learn and explore the world. My favorite attractions are:

The "Jumping Water" in future world, I love how the water hops over your head.
ILLUMINATIONS!!!!!!!!!
Spaceship Earth(Well, I'm an AT&T contractor, hmmmm...)
Leave A Legacy(a neat idea...)
Living Seas(I love marine biology and oceanography)
Japan and China
The fiber optic "sparkling" walkway in front of Innoventions
